Been recently got a new PV which is the eGo v6 which i can change volts from 4v 5v and 6v.. but the tank that comes with it cant carry the 6volts.. the vapor taste like hell .. so i am wondering on what OHMS should be perfect for 5 & 6 volts settings?

will get the Mini Vivi Nova + extra 4ohms coil head soon!

any help will appreciated ;)

just lower the voltage to 5 and then you can use the 2.4 ohm head. You will get the same experience. Just because it can go to the higher volts doesnt mean you have to use it. Its there in case you do have a 4 ohm device then you can set it higher. I might be wrong, but Im sure someone will chime in and set me right. I usually vape at 4.5 volts but thats because I dont like a real hot vape. I like slightly cool to warm. You can push it up to 5 for a rich warmer vape and adjust the ohms accordingly. Most juices dont take heat well, they tend to get a bit harsh especially NET tobaccos. The lighter fruity flavours can take heat better and many times the mixed fruits release the complexities better. Pluid seems to be one of those flavours that people love real warm. All the complex blends come out. I hope that helps a bit.

Well from the beginning of my learning here, all I ever heard was get a Provari, get a Provari, not to put them down, but I see that comment for everything that I asked about. As if that was going to solve every problem in vaping. I kept thinking and saying the same thing WHY? I dont like a hot vape, I liked the experience I was getting from my 3.7 volt KGO.

Id get the same thing, it gives you more choice, it will allow you to find that sweet spot, better flavour etc. I knew my sweet spot, I liked a cooler vape. Only thing I wanted was something that I could replace the battery instead of buying a new KGO every few months. I wanted something that had a longer battery life, Im a heavy vaper so they kept me busy charging. I sort of started getting this grudge towards the Provari and all Variable Volt units, cause I felt I was hounded with out a real reason other than they were the "IT" MOD.

I decided to get a standard 3.7 volt PV and was happy but hated when the batteries would taper off after a while and the vapour production started to decline. I heard about the Kick by Evolve. I heard that it was similar to VV but you adjusted the wattage. Kinda the difference between a Mac and PC, technically the same thing but different method. Even if you dont set it higher than 4.2 as a freshly charged 3.7 device right after a charge what it does is that it maintains the volts at a constant. THe battery just has a slightly shorter life as the voltage/ wattage is maintained at 4.2 ( 3.7) with out tapering down. Same performance till the battery dies.

You also have the luxury of being able to use any atomizer or cartomizer no matter the Oms and at least with the Kick it adjusts itself to give you the same experience weather its 1.7 or 4 or higher. Also for those that like a real warm or hot vape than you can set it to your liking. If you are interested in that type of experience, for all means get a variable voltage, its not really a waste even if you dont ever crank it up to higher than 4.0. On the Provari you have the added convience of having it tell you what your atty or carto is putting out at and then you can fine tune it, and if its a dud device it will let you know.

I like low key devices, I didnt want a large logo telling people the quality or price, I wanted simple and well made. I guess it comes down to what you want and what you need. I enjoy variable wattage and I cant see being without it again. My LR Boge cartos perform so much better at 4.5 volts, no dry hits, I even needed less holes to keep even the high VG juice flowing. I have an Odysseus that performs amazing. I make my builds at about 2.4 to 2.7 and at 8 watts I get an output of 4.5 volts. I love it. My cartos make just as much vapour as the Odysseus. So if you think you might want a VV try out a nice EGo twist and if you enjoy that then decide which PV is worth spending on. Or if you do have a nice standard 3.7 MOD and want more of a kick to your vaping experience, give a KIck a try.

Just enjoy the experience and dont let people push you into something expensive that they use, after all they are all a battery case, difference is the quality and above all safety. Do you want something that will last forever and has a good warranty and good after purchase customer service and will fix it thats a plus. If you cant afford it or just dont care about a status symbol try a few. Just make sure its safe and will last at least a year.

There, Ive rambled and ranted enough. This is supposed to be fun and an alternative to harmful cigarettes.

BTW, Im NOT a Provari hater or putting them down cause I cant afford it, like some fans jump on, Its an amazing unit, well made, will last you a lifetime, they take care of you should there be a fault with yours( yes they do make a DUD or two) but Provape has a great reputation and will fix it or replace it, it just was not for me. Please dont hate me cause I dont want a Provari

one of the vets posted in another thread his +2 rule for VV... in no way am i taking credit for it, but its pretty general and it works great. just take the ohms of your device and add 2

examples:
1.7 ohms +2 = 3.7v
3.0 ohm +2 = 5.0v
1.5 dual coil (1.5x2 = 3.0) +2 = 5.0v

hope this helps, made it easy for me instead of looked at that tiny chart every time to find the sweet spot lol
