I was excited to pick up a kit from you. And I've been wanting to get a passthrough, so it seemed like a great time. Then I heard about your web address etched on the batteries. Sorry, that's unacceptable to me. If you're going to bother with getting them "branded" go with a unique, attractive design. Not just spam. I know where I purchased it from. And I would tell my friends. But I will not pay to be a billboard. Just wanted to give that as some feedback.

I hope that you remove: the emblem of the car manufacturer from the car you are driving: Did that
the logo of the brand of shirt you are wearing: I don't own any branded clothes
the name of the sunglasses you are wearing: I wear RX glasses
the logo of the PC you are using: I build my own PC.

I said in the title, it's a personal preference thing. I mean I assume they're paying a little extra from the MFG, to get them branded. Why not pick a nice design or something? I'd buy that in a heartbeat. And pay extra for it too.

We are trying (for months now) just to get a nice little emblem or something non-text. However the manufacturer is just bent on putting URLS or nothing. I have to put something otherwise people return products that they did not purchase from us, which kills are thin margins. It boiled doen to have something printed and deliver good pricing, or keep them blank and jack up the price to deal with bogus returns. Trust me I am not a URL fan and am working to get the emblem placed instead.

Cheers, thanks for the feedback.

Wow, this response made me smile. And what a bummer your MFG won't make them any other way for you! And the returning other places product is something I never even thought of. A shame others have to always ruin it for the rest of us :( I have a much greater appreciation of your conundrum and I guess I'll just have to place an order anyway now and break out some sandpaper! :D Thanks for the peek at your situation, and here's hoping you get your mfg. to lighten up some! :) Tell them your customers demanded it! :) And looking forward to see what kind of designs you choose when they let you!

edit: Also a thanks to Jess and the peeps on the board that put useful info out there ("Not sure if you know or not but the size of the web address on the end of the battery is is roughly 1/16" tall and 1" long" That's allot smaller than I imagined. I have seen some branded batteries that the URL ran the whole length of the tube.

Again thank you, and hopefully soon we will have a different logo on the batteries other the the URL.

THANK YOU!
