Petri RTA 24mm (22mm/clones)

So, I'm thinking of blowing my budget and getting one of these. I fell in love with it when I first started looking at RTAs (ooh! shiny!). It's so beautiful in form, and the gold amuses me--it's like this tacky, unnecessary and ostentatious (those are actually positives for me) delightful thing that just warms my heart. And sooo pretty. I started seriously considering it today, after reading reviews, and seeing 5 star reviews on sites. I had figured it's appeal was form, not function.

But reviews don't always tell the real story, so if you have it, what do you think of it? Is it worth it? Do you use it frequently?

I was thinking of getting the 24mm one, then the Reload rta comes out. They both look nice.

Oh, that is nice. Yeah, I'm deliberating btwn the 22 and 24mm. I like the look of the 24 better, would look better on my mod,most I'm thinking that's what I'll do. I believe the 510 pin for rebuilding issue was resolved as well, but it can't remember for sure.

The 22mm at 2ml liquid capacity is a big no for me. The 24mm at 3ml is better.

This is totally subjective, but to me, the 22mm looks very delicate and quietly pretty, whereas the 24mm is all, "look at me! I'm all beefy and bad-.... And I'm made of gold. Gold!"

Such a bizarre description, but that's totally how I feel when I look at them. I love them both.

I have two of the 24mm Petri RTAs (not clones)....Absolutely love them. Great flavor, easy to wick, and easy to build....No leaking whatsoever and I have done some pretty ....ty wick jobs at times. You do have to trim your cotton a little otherwise it will run a little dry, not really dry hits but just not nice and saturated. I think anyone could build and wick this thing with no problems, no matter your experience.
