Probably already posted but I thought this was interesting and worth putting up.

Additional studies in monkeys and other animals were undertaken to determine longterm effects, especially the potential for accumulation in the lungs. After a few months of treatment, no ill effects were discovered.[29]"

Of course this does not speak to long term side effects. But it's certainly intriguing.

hmmmm.... so don't blow your vapor through a tube into your fish tank... Your plecostomus might starve.

I'm with you, I believe some simple things such as 1+1=4 but that's about it.

It's true, and I personally think that vaping helps keep us from getting sick.
I haven't been sick in the 13 months since I started vaping.

Hmmmm, a study from 1942 and nothing new has been reported? I would have to say something else would have been reported by now if this were true.

There are a lot more recent studies, check out the other thread DC2 linked.

Specifically, the 2007 study on lung transplant patients delivered an immunosuppresent drug in a PG vapor. It's obviously more focused on the immunosuprresent but the safety of vaporized PG is definitely considered.
