What is the maximum amount of menthol crystals that will dissolve in 10 ml of PG without any of it re-crystalizing? Unfortunately, I can't get my hands on Everclear in Massachusetts. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Approximatly 1ml or 10%. Heat the mix to 150f then add crystals and shake like crazy. You may have to reheat a few times. A 50/50 solution of PG/PGA does work better.
What's a good starting point for using that in an unflavored nic base? I want to use just the menthol. Thanks for the info.

TIP: To dissolve, fill a container half way with VG or PG, then the other half with menthol crystals. Shake until dissolved. Heating the VG or PG first will speed up the process. Try starting out at 5% in your recipe of that solution that you made.

I mix 2g crystals per 10g pg. Shake it up periodically until all the crystals dissolve. I then use that solution at 5% with the unflavored base. Make small batches until you find the level of menthol u like. I actually prefer the crystals dissolved in pg, when I was using pga I would get random alcohol tasting hits.
I've been mixing 1 gram of crystals to 10 ML of PG---then using said solution at 7.5% in unflavored base to make my menthol vape...
