I'm very new to this! I'd like to mix juices at an end concentration of about 80/20 PG/VG with 24 mg/ml nicotine content...

and then gradually increase the VG side of the ratio by adding VG (I don't want to wreck cartomizers too fast with high VG. I haven't noticed my cartos that use VG dominant juices dying faster on me, but I have heard this is an issue so I wanted to start around 20% and then titrate up)

What would your recommend I get for a nicotine base (I want to start with 60 mg/ml, but open to suggestions) for these purposes? PG, VG, or a mix of both?

thanks in advance!

Cyrus

PS: Read through the stickes and found the calculators and what not, and the nicotine safety stuff

I've only got PG nic base and my wife and I prefer VG-heavy fluids, and it hasn't been a problem for me to mix up to 30/70 VG/PG. So I think you'd be fine with a PG nic base. I don't know for certain, but i've heard it mentioned that nicotine stays suspended/dissolved better in PG than in VG, and that's why I chose the base I did.

So I have 60 mg/ml nic coming, in PG. Thank you guys for the input! Def did not know that about nic in VG

So I should count the PG in the nic solution towards my total PG % I assume?

5 ml of 60mg/ml nic
4 ml of VG
1 ml total of flavorings

that'd be a 10 ml juice, with 55/45 PG/VG?

Sounds about right.

I try to buy 100% PG Based Nicotine. VG is Dirt Cheap compared to VG Based Nicotine.

I use this simple calculator and also count my flavoring as PG as most are in a PG base
eJuice Recipe Calculator

I also find that nic based in PG holds up much longer :) Good luck!
