PG - more of this = taste + TH, can be harsh at 100%, some people find htey are sensitive to it. Has been tested since the 1940s and is found in everything from toothpaste to children's medicine.

VG - more of this = Vapor, can add a little sweetness, can soften flavors.

BOTH are humectants, meaning they draw and hold water (moisture) to themselves from their surroundings (which is why they make a good carrier liquid) but as a vaper that will include YOU so drink drink drink.

Personally I go with an 80/20 PG/VG mix :)

There's really no "better." In terms of safety, both are quite safe, and in things you use on and in your body every day. Apart from the occasional person with a PG allergy (which I have never heard of being extreme, and is somewhat rare), I have heard of no adverse reactions.

PG gives more flavor, a stronger throat hit, and less vapor.

VG gives more vapor, a gentler throat hit, and less flavor.

Personally, I prefer more PG. I love the vapor of VG, but I love a strong flavor and solid throat hit more. PG is also thinner, and I notice that liquids with lots of VG tend to gunk up my cartos slightly faster than PG liquids.

Everyone will have different preferences. Just get a few samplers and see what you like.
