Or the chinese clone nuts, otherwise known as chud nuts

Cobra nuts is pretty funny to, do snakes have nuts?

We didn't even discuss the aspects of brass nuts vs other nuts...

Even more nuts... If we keep this up, we'll loose the right to order spare nuts, should be loose our cobra nuts, from Moorea.

Oh and I'm including a  here to try and stave off two others who may wish to chime in. :D

Well. Nuts come in multiple sizes and varieties. A cobras nuts are two distinctly different sized pair. And if you choose a stock option on the DID, you benefit from getting a third BONUS nut for your use. Nuts are not interchangeable....usually. And even if they are, who would want to swap them. For each they serve a specific purpose.

Brass takes on a new meaning to me. Today I ordered a mod that you can customize with your clothing style. You can choose from a polished SS, brushed SS, polished brass or brushed brass. These are shirts and pants. NOT to be confused with the counter parts of the UNDER clothing. And as a bonus....NO nuts are included. What has this vaping world come to?

Just sayin.

maybe not, but I bet it comes with many screws.

at least the Cobra comes with BOTH screws and nuts. after all I don't think it would be nearly as much fun to screw without nuts.

Yup I just went there, that happened.

Sorry Edo, not sure I understand what you mean by DID style nuts. Do you mean old DID style (brass), multiple (3 pieces) knurled, or replacements knurled nuts (2 pieces) like the ones that originally come on the Cobra.

If you are looking for 3 pieces, I've not see anyone who has changed them out or seen any info on thread sizes in any of the reading for the Cobra I've come across here or abroad. :(

yeah I wanted to replace the 2 nuts that came with the cobra with 3 DID style nuts. I have searched the web and it seems like no one has tried this. Thanks for the response anyway.

Soooooo in light of crushing my cobra glass, I've been thinking....
You know it wouldnt take much of a turn down to get the cobra body to fit inside the Phiniac glass. Wonder if anyone has tried this?

Moo does great work as far as really good sandblasted cobra tanks, the custom work she did for me was fantastic and it isnt expensive.

OK, I got curious and looked. Took the cap off a phiniac tank and placed it over the top of the Cobra and it's just barely starts to clear the Cobra's metal. It's the same height, a bit larger in OD, but since it's so thick the ID is just a bit too small.

I guess that's what you mean by a turn down. But not sure if you mean shaving the Ti down or finding a way to shave the ID of the tank. Either way would be quite a job and bummer it doesn't fit. I'd would have had a field day trying out new combos today.

Yea shave a tiny amount off of the cobra(I have no idea if one could shave the glass the tank is made of). Im almost tempted to try it but for one thing....
The top cap would look goofy...

Given that you would have to shave a lot of metal off, I wouldn't even attempt it. The largest aspect of the Cobra would have to become smaller than the currently smallest part. Then there's the fact that the cap would no longer fit, shaving Ti is no small feat, etc.

Far easier to just custom make a new sized tank I would think. Phiniac would need to get permission from Siam first, and if I recall correctly Siam already stated that they are to be used with their glass only.
