That I like better! I suggested using the like system while chatting in our other thread, but it seems that some do not like that idea.

I'm all for it. I think it's a more fair system in a contest like mine or Blu's whose winner may be judged subjectively. That way it doesn't fall on you. I've been in that position before, choosing a contest winner for a supplier friend of mine, and it's not fun.

I forgot about the mad lib contest! I didn't play after the first one. Mine just wasn't funny!!! Even as a kid mine didn't come out funny!!! LOL!!!

After thinking about it, I agree with taking out subjectivity. Maybe a design, poem, or even dirty limerick contest, but do the random # pick again. That way people can really let loose, and whoever wins, there is no way to argue about it. (not that people would argue, but ...)

How about a contest on who has the best "crash test" for the Phiniac.

MY CONTEST SUGGESTION IS:

You find a Valentine's Day related picture and we think up a funny caption for it. Or it could be something meaningful related to the picture.
There could even be more than one picture and we would be allowed to post a certain number of captions or we can just be allowed to post a caption once a day...you decide.
I think it would be entertaining and hilarious to see what we come up with.

I think the suggestion was just for ideas for a crash test, not to actually act them out!

But that being said... while we do not suggest you act them out, we might and video the results!

How about an internet-wide scavenger hunt of some sort? Doesn't even need to be specific answers you're looking for, just things that can be interpreted to fit them (might work out to be more fun this way). You could use the Valentine's Day theme when putting together the list of clues easy enough. Then do a random drawing from the people that completed the scavenger hunt

Have you seen the photographs that spell out words? A photographer had them at a local craft show. You could spell out your name in different pictures ie. lamp pole would be the letter "T" You could find pictures that spell out Happy Valentines!

How about a combination scavenger hunt/puzzle/trivia challenge? Start with a clue, have an image/link hidden somewhere on the site that the clue will lead to. Clicking on the link would bring up either a trivia question, puzzle, riddle, etc. Completing that challenge would give the next clue. A few examples I can think of would be to have a riddle that the answer would point to a specific tank design available on the site, the page for which would have the link for the next clue, or vaping related trivia questions that could range from having to search some of the news/politics threads on ECF for the answers, more technical things like calculating nic content of a combination of different amounts and strength juices. There's a ton of options you'd have with how long and difficult it would be, what kind of challenges you use, and I think it'd be both fun and would allow for plenty of opportunities to showcase your products through the contest.

So far I like Blu's idea the most. Although instead of moorea being the judge or 'likes' being the judge, I think a random post # would be fair. But if you could limit it to 2 or 3 submissions so the insomniacs and ECF addicts don't bogart the entries

I still cant think of a good contest idea myself, so for now I'll just campaign for Blu
