Old English D 1
Old English D 2

Just how I pictured it, very well done execution by Phiniac based on my request. The D is a much darker blue, the flash changed the color some.

These probably look best on a cylinder mod, but I don't own one and I think this looks pretty good. tank works well, first juice was ECBlend's Dragon's Tear and it's pretty smooth in the Boge LR carto.

Thanks for sharing.

The photos aren't easy to do, they never seem to capture the finished product.

I am happy to hear it was what you expected and it arrived safely! Enjoy!

Any ETA on the Phinique? How about the ole Phiddlesticks?

Sorry for the delayed response, I had Doctors appointments at the end of next week for my upcoming surgery this Friday.

I believe we have made the needed changes to the Phinique so they will not have the issues we had on the first batch. Mesquite_Maniac has sent a few for us to test and make sure there are no issues. Once we give the OK he is going to complete the rest of the batch. So I am thinking we should have them in about two weeks give or take.

As for the phiddlesticks Mesquite_Maniac has made a few of these as well and has one on its way to me with the Phiniques. We still need to come up with some standard designs. I do not have an exact date on them yet, but hopefully sometime in the next week three weeks they will be on the website.

Hiya billie. It must be driving you crazy having to wait so long for your beautiful Phinique. Sorry Jen, no offense there. :) :censored: happens and I know you only put out the very best quality. ;)

Mesquite drip tips? I was probably off crying 'cause I didn't win a Phinique. :p I don't even remember that. Now I can't wait to see those too.

Yup Hillbillie is correct, they are drip tips. Big Juicy won an "Honorary" prize of a phiddlestick as we loved the name just not for the tanks. We are going to have wood and stone for sure (as well as some to match the phiniques) and likely some other materials as well.

Oh oh. I think I'm going to be in big trouble. You know how I like wood. :D

I haven't seen them yet either. He has just finished a few prototypes so I will see them soon. Time to stalk the mailman :)

I am just a little worried that Mesquite is doing all this hard work to get all the new products going and my surgery this friday is going to slow the works down. But I promise I will drag my .... out of bed to get the photographs done and the products on the website!

You maybe should keep your .... in bed until you don't have to drag yourself out. Pics can wait. :)

No offense taken. But I think Hillbillie will be very happy for the wait. "Version 2" will be MUCH better then the never released "Version 1"!

Funny, because you better then any one knows how much I love wood.... yet I'm kind more excited about the stone.

Here is a sneak peak...

I believe the 3 in the photo are the three that have been sent to us. If any of those are interesting to you after we have tested them and made sure there are no issues you can choose from those three OR wait until the batch is finished and choose from the entire batch!

Holy crap I'm in sooo big trouble. Those tanks are gorgeous. Thanks for the peak. Billie is going to have a very hard time choosing.

 They're just GORGEOUS! I'd like to wait to view the entire batch, if that's okay. Each one is so extremely unique and at the last pick one screamed for me to pick it...so I'm hoping for that same "match." :)

I hope everything goes smoothly with your surgery and wish you a rapid recovery! And there is absolutely no reason to drag your tookas outta bed to take pics for us (well, for me at least...I'm unsure if you have demanding folks out there wearin' on ya' for them). I'm as tickled as can be just knowing the Phiniques are almost ready for release and I have no problem waiting. :)

Glad you asked!
The mesquite tips will be coated with CA glue inside & out and then sanded with micro-mesh and polished. The stone, and maybe a few acrylics :p are just sanded with micro mesh and polished. All will have a metal base that Moorea acquired for me :)

I am ready to crank out a batch of Phiniques once they tell me the prototypes pass their testing.

Really sorry for the delay, but REALLY happy that Phiniac won't move forward with a product until it is rock solid!!!

Another batch of holders will also be waiting for her when she returns home - several with bark edges ... I bet she keeps one?

The CA glue is very good. It's non-toxic and juice won't cause the wood to expand. I love the metal base too. Will it have the metal core to strengthen the wood? I can't wait to see these.

The base has a metal core that extends about 3/8" into the tip, not the full length. Here is a sneak peek (I will need to keep a few of these for "Product Evaluation" :D)
