I'm OK. But they put the implant under my muscle and it is very sore and hurts to type so I haven't been spending much time by the computer.

Oh, sorry to hear that. How long do you think it will be before you're feeling better?

Edit: Oops. I probably shouldn't have asked that since it hurts to type.

I'm already feeling much better. This past Friday was week two and I am already out of bed for 3 or 4 hours or so at a time. 4 hours has me pretty sore and achy though. Last surgery it took me 3+ weeks and even then I could only do an hour without rushing back bed. So progress is good, I just haven't found a comfortable way to hold my arms while I type. Should be easier once some of the swelling goes down.

Yep, done with school for now. Been looking for a job like a crazy woman. Have three leads though, and should know by the end of the week if any turn out.

How have you been?

I'm good thanks. I got out of that loony tune apt building I was in and moved into a mobile. I'm a lot happier here.

What did you study in school again? I forget.

And what little goody do you plan to get when the site gets back up?

I got my Certified Nursing Assistant license. I'll start working on my RN in January, so right now just looking for anything as far a jobs go!

I'm not sure what I'm going to get. I'll see what handblowns are available, or maybe a Phrostie, I'm so undecided, I just am in need of a new tank. (And by need, I really mean want, lol)

Congrats on the license. :)

Have you seen the Skinny Phinny's. I have one and love it. Hope to get more. :) I got a textured not long ago and it is way cool. :)

Is the Phiniac site down? I was thinking about picking up a wee gift for myself this evening. :D

I can't get on either... Hope all is well and it's just server issues...

Yup, the entire server was down all day yesterday :( had 20+ sites down so it was not a fun day.

Kat, I replied to your email in more detail a few minutes ago. Sorry for my brief response earlier, I was on the way out the door for my 4 month radiation visit follow up.

Good luck on the job search. I hope you find something that is what you are looking for. At least you have picked a field that does not go out of style... there will always be doctors and sick people to visit them. Are you looking for a specific type of medical job?

Ultimately I want my RN and where I'll end up I'm still undecided. I don't think I have the strength to do hospice care.

For now, I'll likely end up working in a nursing home, as getting on at the hospital is near impossible with no experience.

I'm not sure the skinny phinnies are for me. I like big tanks and I can not lie.

Lol, hoping to put in my order later tonight or in the morning. Had to take Gandalf back to the vet today as his leg has gotten infected (again) from the surgery to heal the break. We are trying to buy some time, as they want to do surgery to remove the plates and pins and I don't have the money for it right now. In other news, my Grandma has quit eating and drinking so it looks like we are going to lose her soon. My mom made it up to Pennsylvania today and she was still conscious, so I think that is a blessing. She had a series of strokes about a decade ago, so honestly, she's been gone for a long time and though it hurts, and it's not necessarily a bad thing. I just feel bad for my Mom as she's had a rough six months or so. But my family is tough as nails, so we'll get through this.

I feel like I'm always on the forums complaining about sad stuff! In good news I will have a new Phiniac soon, lol. Those anondized caps and drip tips are super smexy by the way. Love them!

Ok, I guess I should go cuddle with my husband for a few since he just got home from work. He likes that kind of thing. :D
