I have searched the threads and cannot find the answer. I just picked up the A7 which has an adjustable center post that is just way too loose and constantly loses the connection and is causing the resistance to vary and does not fire properly. I tried putting an o ring under the center post but it completely cuts off the air flow. I am gonna buy another so that I can use the o ring and drill out a side hole but in the meantime had anybody been able to find a fix without drilling a side hole? I know there's a way but I can't figure it out. I am really tired of constantly talking it off my mod and loosening the center postjust to do it again in 5 minutes. thanks in advance and like I said im really trying to avoid drilling a new air hole till I have another ordered.

Yours sounds faulty to me. I thought mine was very loose, I just set it and screw it down. I have no idea how yours is moving around when tightened down on a mod.

that's exactly what it's doing to when I tighten it onto my device the screw tightens with it I even went back to high desert vapes and compared it to other ones and they were all the same. it is literally finger lose I can get it with a finger nail and it loosens with no effort whatsoever.

My A7 has a very loose center pin too when extended enough to make proper contact with my mods. My regular atties measure about .17" from the the center pin to the base so that's what I adjust all my RBAs to.

I used a washer with the proper thickness to give me .17", then I machined it down so it wouldn't restrict air flow. You could do the same using a file or a Dremel.
