I'd be more interested in a "review" after you used it for a week, not the second tank full.

A lot of people were eager for a video of some sort, so this is an initial review. I'm sure that if LD's experience with it changes significantly, he'll update us. That's just how he rolls. Plus, he said straight up that he'd only been using it for a day, so people will know that it's an early review.

Yes, MastiffMike did the opening sequence for him. He did a really good job. Very professional, as with all of his work.
Last I heard, it was getting close... as in days away. I didn't realize that it was so far out, when I did the review. I am still glad I did it. I really like the Phoenix tank and, amazingly, it is still going strong on the original cart.
Wow, I have seen a bunch of your reviews, but with such little use I don't think many can get a good idea of this unit. I like your reviews though.

I've slowed down on using it, but I've put a lot of fills in it already. This review is 3 weeks old already. lol Now, I've stopped counting the times I've filled the tank, but this little carto has taken quite a bit of juice.
Now when I did the review, that was halfway through the second fill, so I put about 5ML of juice through a 1ML carto. I think that was a pretty fair assessment of the units performance. It usually takes that amount to get through the break in period. I was getting hammered in PMs about it, and everyone kept asking about it's performance. So, I released the video.
Once it is released, I am going to start tearing it apart, and trying to get it tweaked out more. I just need to wait for more Phoenix cartos to come. I only got one. So, I can't do the followup until I get more. Luckily, this thing is still kicking ..... I just hope that the race to fill production orders doesn't cause QA issues.

Agreed. I was just more thinking this as a preview than a review. Its all good though, I like previews too!

With the ViVi being so simple and a solid device, I think this unit will appeal to a more defined group. Heads for the ViVi are below $3, so for this to be a break out product the replacement parts will need to be comparable as will the initial price. Reasoning? The ViVi has tank replacements, clean ability, metal tanks for poly crackers(polly want a...nvrmnd) and heads that will just be cheaper as time goes by.
That said, there are people that are not completely satisfied with ViVi and will look elsewhere, along with folks who just like new things (me!).

LD....how did the Raven compare to the Vivi Nova in terms of taste, etc??
I think the Raven will be the one thing that bring life back to everyone's carto tanks, since it will work in many existing tanks.
It is hard to say. I can hack the **** out of the Vivi. The Raven is a "pop in carto and vape" style thing. In terms of taste, the Raven wins, depending on the Vivi rebuild I've done.
Is there any polyfill in the carto? I had to give up my tank system because the polyfill made my lungs hurt.
