Got mine today and it was a no-go on my Vamo! Trouble ticket sent in....

why doesnt it work on the vamo, if its screwed in, then check the pin on the vamo and check the pin on the nest to make sure its making contact, its possible what ever you were using prior on the vamo that maybe the pin is pushed down not making contact with the nest

Not firing on the vamo at all. vaping an Evod on the vamo now and it's fine. The Raven's nest won't tighten down on the vamo, it just keeps spinning. I got it as tight as I could, but no luck...checked ohms, 9.9. So glad yours worked yiddle! I know you wanted this as badly as I did!

I know you were just as excited as I was.....that's why I put it on the vamo instead of one of my other mods. Do you have something else to try it on....to maybe rule out a dud carto in it?

For kicks I tried it on my ego as well, it won't tighten down completely on that either....and it won't fire.

Try using a 510/510 or 510/eGo extention... I'm with bad on this, probably just not getting contact on the pin and an extension should help determine that

I did try it with an 510-eGo adapter after it wouldn't fire on the Vamo. Unfortunately it didn't work either way. I know that Gotvapes will help me through this...it's just my luck! And, it's Monday!

Other than the extender, is there anything else I can do to get it to lock down? I think the contact issue is because it won't completely "latch on". I can get it pretty close to lock, but it's will keep going.

I use these on all my mods...and not because I need to control air flow...I love my splitfires, but....they have real hinky threading....I can get them to screw down tightly in these and at the same time protect the threads in my mods........

I'm not sure what is meant on this carto/tank ... "lock down". It's a carto that screws onto the MOD, the tank slips over it just making certain that the place for the flange to fit is pointing down ( towards the flange on the carto )... fill and put on a drip tip. There is no "lock down" although you do want to tighten the carto down finger tight ( and no tighter so you don't strip out the threads )

PS... I don't fill on the MOD... I just listed the order that they are on the MOD that way.

I don't know how I overlooked those every time I've browsed the site. I've been having airflow issues with a couple of tanks on my old Bolt (there's so little air getting in that the carto floods halfway through my vape), and one of those guys should solve it. Thanks, yiddle!

Rdsok....she's never had a carto tank before....didn't realize that the tank can be turned on the carto, while the carto remains stationary....I do it with my fancy schmancy glass tanks to get the picture turned where I want it facing..

Cool... glad it was something simple. I thought it may have been an "experience" issue with the wording being used. Which is why I tried to explain the order of assembly etc... so to speak.

They look a little rough but design is quiet nice and price is good for sure. Hope it's plated brass so the chrome don't start peeling off like on the Kanger aluminum tanks.

If the tanks is spinning too much and you cant get a grip on the carto to screw or unscrew it from a mod I have found with my other carto tanks that a little sideways pressure on the drip tip will add the friction needed to hold the carto while you turn it. HTH

I just got mine today. Quality is meh, feels cheap. Also nothing but dry hits off the carto. Can only get good hits with dripping directly into the carto. And what the hell with not taking the caps off the tank to clean it?

what device are you using it on, at what setting if any, and how did you prime it?
