I just sliced the center post on this one for use on my Grand. $8 rda, and now its replaced the old Phoenix mini. The vape is soooo much better! I've actually got 6 more on order, then I'll snap more pics of the proccess. The way I made it was by cutting the notch into the center pin, not by cutting the insulator (I believe insulators are kinda important)

Looks like the "cheapie" ERA clones. I have several of them and use them often and they offer up a fantastic vape (I have two in use as we speak).

Just have to watch the neg. pin. They tend to get loose and fall out over time. You'll know when something is wrong when your multimeter can't get a solid reading on the oHms.

Insulators are important but if you just cut a channel in them, it is safe and works just fine for squonking.

Just cut just enough to create a channel that does not go all the way down to the center pin (did the same thing with a Cyclone AFC). There is a whole thread somewhere on how to do this. I've even drilled up through the bottom (alongside) the insulator and never removed the center pin to create a channel.
