i replaced the screws with normal Philips screws and work like a champ, also I am experimenting in using springs and washer as soon as I find something that fits so that I can just nudge it in between the washer and screw

Sounds great Jomay! The set screws are just a tad fiddley (sarcasm). Where did you find the Philips screws? I have some from an eye glass repair kit, but I know there are better out there. Lookin forward to the next round!
Hands down the best dripper I've ever used. Stock airholes wide open is just about perfect for me. I too, have tried many Rebuildable drippers and just didn't get it.

This is about as close to perfection as you can get in a dripper (imho)
I've found the raised negative post screws from the AGAs work to replace those microscopic set screws that come stock with this.

The Chimbus looks like the Phoenix V7. You can't get any cheaper than Fasttech on those. Let us know if it has the dual airholes.
Seriously I don't think it gets much better than this unless you want jump into a Trident or Immortalizer. I've been vaping at 35 watts all day, had to make a special batch of 10mg juice and its still too strong.
Definitely interested in this...is the primary advantage and increase in flavor/vapor due to the dual coil ability?
On the Phoenix V5 from the coop that I haven't seen anywhere, it is the dual coils, dual air holes and small chamber that really bring out the flavor. The V5 at Fasttech may have the same advantages, but not sure if it has 2 airholes. It doesn't have an airflow control ring, but frankly I vape the V5 I have with the air control wide open.
If you guys are vaping sub-ohm coils...make SURE you guys bore out the airholes at the very least to 1.2mm. Resistance & Air Flow - YouTube
I just got mine today, found one in the classifieds. Build and finish look nice, only complaint is the air ring. Threads have a very loose tolerance, but for $14...
I didn't have much time to play around with it today but I did vape the stock coils after cleaning it, not all that impressed yet honestly. Vape was subpar and had a terrible th. I plan on replacing the coils tomorrow then see how she does. My igo's, octopus and squid's easily outperform it at this moment in taste and vape, but I'll see if I can fix that.

I wouldn't judge anything based on stock coils. I'm sure you'll get much better results when you wrap your own.
The V5's that I have seen for sale at vendors were a first run and the sirholes were too high, they've since fixed them, but not sure if our coop was the first run of these new revis
ed versions.
You may have the first run where the airholes sit too high above the coils. Folks with those versions had to drill new holes.

I think you guys are the first ones to get the revision. The reviews on V5.0 were terrible for the reasons you mentioned. So far V5.1 is sounding promising.
