I started on a volcano inferno 3.7v 1.5 ohm dual coil... then moved to a lavatube 3.0 ohm single coil, could not find the sweet spot, voltage was inconsistent... and the provari with 3.0 ohm single coils at 5.0-5.3v depending on the juice... the inferno couldnt keep up with me and i didnt like dual coils... the lavatube has obvious quality issues... the provari... well its a provari!!!
in order of actual acquisition...
LEFT: inferno v2 with 4ml tube tank... MIDDLE: lavatube with 4ml tube tank RIGHT: provari with 7ml tube tank

The logical step up from a twist is a lava tank, the best step up is the Provari.. pricey but definitely worth the investment for awesome American made steel and electronics.

Edit: ViVi tanks are very good, no reason to forsake those unless you wanna play with other types.

That's about where I am. I love my vivi novas and will keep using them unless something else unquestionably better comes out. I've thought about cheap genesis styles, and I've got a 2-chamber version coming from a co-op, but it'd take a lot to make me jump ship at this point……especially if rebuilding with SS works as well as people says it does.

I'm also finally sold on a Provari. I'll still want an Empire Mod, but that's mostly just to have one. And it can wait (assuming they all don't disappear).
