The twists got new friends! I'm gonna chalk it up to good luck that these DUDs just worked. Rolled new wick, coil it up, fire and adjust, then they just work! I'm very pleased.

Those look fantastic, those drip tips, are they The DCA drip tips from Goodsense? Im a drip tip fanatic. Always on the look out for stainless steel unusuals.

Ive been waiting for the phoenix XL, it looks really great and must be easier to rewick and coil , where did you find it. I can only find an Australian site that sells it. The shipping is almost as much as the atomizer

A couple of different setups. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses...Hahah[/QUOTE]

Got it from a vape meet here, local vendor East Side Vapes, not sure if shipping would be much better. I haven't done a rebuild yet, though I'll probably go with a vertical SS/Cotton hybrid when I do.

Just got this tonight and while the lighting stinks at night on the porch. I should have wiped it off first. Im also hoping that with this adjustable center pin I can get it to thread it farther and get rid of that annoying gap. This thing is huge and this will not be its final mate but it was sitting there so I paired them up and took a snap for all to see the new AC9.

So I've had the AC9 for a couple of hours now and I must say that I'm really impressed! The build quality is fantastic, the setup is easy, and most importantly, the performance is truly stellar! I have a 4/3 wrap of the 28g kanthal going (0.8Ω) and I'm using one of the wicks included in the AC9 kit and the vapor production, flavor, and th are all great. Here are a few pics of it on a couple of mods, but I really gotta say that it looks absolutely PERFECT on the Caravela! I guess I gotta get a matte 18650 tube now...
