I have a Lava without a home. That should be remedied shortly though.

1.) Am I right in thinking that all 18650's are 3.7v? Don't you need something higher to run a variable voltage mod that goes up to 6v? Please excuse my noob questions by the way!
2.) Would that mod work with AW 18650 3.7v 1600mah batteries? Is the mAh too low? If you wanted to run it at 3.7v, would you suggest Boge 2.0 LR cartomizers? What made you choose Boge 3.0ohm cartomizers?
Hey Hairball - I got your Peppermint twin today. Haven't used it much yet but the few hits I took at 5.0 were great!
Allow me to introduce you to my family, Darwin, Don, Galileo and Peppermint

18650 are 3.7v. VV can work in one of 2 ways: stepping up the voltage or stepping down the voltage. The former use 1 battery (e.g. the Provari), stepping up at the expense of longevity. The latter generally use 2 batteries in series. 3.7v + 3.7v = 7.4v, which is then stepped down.
There is no such thing as "mAh too low" to work... lower mAh just means just shorter life. AW are more honest about their ratings than some brands, though.
Typically, IMRs aren't really necessary in the 18650 size (unlike smaller sizes, where only high drain are sufficient), especially when there are 2 of them. A pair of ICR 3100's would last for days!
cba, which Touchwood do you like more the Mini or the 18650 ??I have a Lava without a home. That should be remedied shortly though.

True story. My aw icr 3100 lasts me a solid 2 days even with lr dcc's.View attachment 71773
This is my rough stack and I really like it but I'm getting the itch for a provari.
Nice Set Up!
