Hi all, ive only been vaping for a couple of months but ive been through a few set ups, i started on a tornado tank and the moved on to some bigger ego batteries with a duel carto tank. A new carto thoughtfully shorted one of my batteries the other morning so i decided to throw together the pass through pictured below out of linen phenolic and brass, im loving vaping at 5v but im finding it nails the cartos, im only getting a few days out of them before they are clogged. Ive just ordered myself a lavatube that should be with me in a few days but im kind of at a loss as to which way to go for a tank/atty, im thinking i may make a tank that can take clearomizers.

Very nice!

Here are some ideas of tanks that use CE2 wicks, like a clearomizer:

I've been vaping for seven happy weeks now. Here is the vaping cabinet in the kitchen.

Yes, I like E-Power 14650 (blue LED switch version from Hoosier). After I bought the original starter kit I ordered two more from replacement parts for about the same cost. The third E-Power is still wrapped up as new parts in that plastic bag.

I have chargers on the right side. Six 14650's got charged today at one time, enough to last me the next ten days.

The E-Power 14650 on the left is equipped with the Smoktech 1.7 ohm LR XL (a.k.a. "Resurrector", "Rejuvinator", or "Resuscitator.") On the right is the same E-Power Smoktech 14650 equipped with the Smoktech 2.0 ohm LR XL. Both are from Hoosier e-cig supply.

On the left you see a nickle plated brass drip tip. On the right you see an aluminum drip tip. The aluminum will respond much faster to temperature changes than the nickle plated brass drip tip. The aluminum drip tip will warm up faster and cool down faster, still I prefer the nickle plated brass drip tip.

As to which carto I prefer: the Smoktech 1.7 ohm LR XL is my favorite. However, I often want a cooler vape with nearly the same vapor production. Then I go for the 2.0 LR XL on the right.

Thanks Everyone for posting your great mods, its alot of help for someone new like myself.

I may not save any money by stopping the analogs but all else being equal I will be around longer to spend more money on vaping products!

I notice alot of people have a substansial supply of juice, I am finding out how important this is right now. I am almost out of juice myself and wishing the mail would be delivered on Sunday. My order was placed on Thursday and shipped on Friday. I am using an EGO to vape instead of the V3.1 to try and save what little I have to last through delivery in a day or 2, hope I make it.
