I am by no means a Genesis guru, but I would say you have a bad hot spot from the top of that coil to the post.
Maybe I am wrong, but the 1 Genesis style I have would curl my taste buds like that.

It doesn't hurt to bend the wick closer to the positive post. That would shorten up the wire. You can also get a larger washer too. Looks like 32guage?

1.9ohm is good for the Provari, but won't work very well on a mechanical if that's your goal.

I've built a ton of coils for all my rba's, and I'm still experimenting with different combinations of ss mesh, silica, ribbon and ss rope. Still looking for that perfect vape!

Yep, all 3 modes there... the bottom firer all mech, the side firer elect. switch and the side firer VV/VW nivel This stuff is amazing. The only issue one can figure is it's a plain-jane... w/out the nivel attachment there's not even a logo anywhere. C9 forum has a separate section on SM and plenty of useful threads on the Semovar.

Thank you. I had one in cart until I saw his review. I like him but sometimes seems a bit...out there? I tried talking to him on the mechanical side but it was a southward conversation. I have not used a vv in months and months. Sold em.
