I just got this today. Runs on 2 x 18650's and is variable voltage. I don't know if this has the ever-cool or vari-cool chip in it but I haven't been able to hot box it yet. It holds good voltage on not so fresh batteries. I'm running a Boge 3.0ohm cartomizer on board set at, you guessed it, 5.4V...that's also loaded and unloaded...no drop in voltage as of yet. The mod can run 3.3-6V. I have it set for the juice in it. The LCD and wheel adjuster is inside the mod...wheel is to the left of the LCD and is very easy to move. Firing button is on the back, dead center at the top and is a black horned button.

Was there any reason you went with the 5v batteries? It's an awesome altoids mod!

hairball - You are so lucky!!! I was just looking at them the other day and they were out of stock! Thank you so much for describing it and what you are using! I have a few questions if you don't mind! I understand if you don't answer them all! :)

1.) Am I right in thinking that all 18650's are 3.7v? Don't you need something higher to run a variable voltage mod that goes up to 6v? Please excuse my noob questions by the way! :)

2.) Would that mod work with AW 18650 3.7v 1600mah batteries? Is the mAh too low? If you wanted to run it at 3.7v, would you suggest Boge 2.0 LR cartomizers? What made you choose Boge 3.0ohm cartomizers?

Me thinks I'll have to stalk SmartVapes until these are re-stocked. I want! The only other time I stopped analogs before I found vaping, I went through a couple-few tins a day of these.

That is cool. Any way to find out what it uses for VV?
