Look at your carto's some time with a good magnifying glass, and you'll see I meant the top and bottoms of them too, when inserting into the tanks. Their quality control leaves much to be desired on most manufacturers. Don't suppose they can be blamed really though, with their 20 hours work shifts, and forced to stand, until their knees lock. I use some fine emery to just ensure the edges of top and bottom, are slightly rounded.

Well I can agree that it is probably not a perfect circle, but I am hoping it will be Ok. The J-tanks are a much more snug fit than other popular tanks like the Liquinator (which people report to be quite loose). So time will tell whether or not it is snug enough to keep the liquid from coming out or not.

So, nothing really special for most of you, but it is for me!

I like it. But then again looking at my table and seeing 2 Ego 18650 Mod's may lead people to suspect a certain bias.

Here is one of my first mods I made. Tube is from a telescopic broom handle, end cap is a thumbscrew & tapped washer with a piece of rubber in between. Top was made from a truck tire valve stem. Button is a pen push button. It uses 2 TR15270 3.0v batts for 6 volts. This has worked very well for the past year. It is starting to fall apart, so I got a lavatube to give me some time to work on it again.IMAG0020.jpg

Well finally got around to installing my J-tank on my Boge carto alongside my eGo-T 18650 mod and a shorty cone I got from LF. I wanted to wait until I had a juice that I knew was worth vaping 3ml of (much longer process than I had originally hoped).

The stuff is 100% VG and very thick, so I was (and still am) concerned about it not sucking into the carto properly. I hammered two decently sized holes with a screw, and as far as I can tell it appears to be sucking in the liquid (hard to notice the small level drop since I have only been vaping on it for a little while now). No gurgling or anything strange yet. I will know for sure later today if the level has truly dropped or not or if I am just burning up the filler material in my carto.

Was a lot easier to hammer the holes than I thought it would be, from what I read from other peoples experience, was they seemed to 'dent' the carto rather than making a hole when doing the nail method. I really didn't want to make a mess by using a dremel (or having to buy a dremel) for the slotted method, so I really was hoping this would work for me. I had no problems whatsoever getting a clean hole the first time around, and I really didn't even have to hit it that hard either.

I just used a c-clamp to hold it stationary while I held the screw in place, then proceeded with a few hits with a hammer. Worked like a charm!

If this does in fact work, my next step will to see if this thing leaks or not. So far so good right now, but time will tell if it leaks in my carrying case or not (an old Snus tin) as I go about my daily life.

I bought a Self-Tapping Saddle Valve from Lowe's. It was recommended by others on the forum, and it works flawlessly!

Finally got my Silver Bullet, in purple powered by a protected 18650 @3.1Ah. Also picked up a stainless 6ml 1.5ohm dual coil tank while I was out at Alt Smoke this past Tuesday, currently filled with pineapple peach blast (High Caliber USA) 50/50 mix @24mg, also from Alt Smoke. The drip tip is from MyVaporStore.com and is a very nice fit on any tank or carto I throw it on.

And for those who think I am not manly (due to a purple SB), here is a picture of my cat, the baddest little .... this side of the Milky Way, and myself.
