Do NOT call it rubbish. I have a lot of fancier and pricier gear (kit to a Brit?), and my lavatube and Vivi Novas work as well as any, and better than some. Admittedly, I have done a bit of tinkering to the Vivi Nova (drilled out airflows and mesh wick), but it's a very solid combo, and it's one of the two units that goes to work with me every single day. Fancy and expensive is optional. Good vape is what is important.

Okay, so to update my last "not hardware" post in here: I finally got it done.

With only a few tools, many changes in plans, and healthy dose of cussing, I slapped together a pine box to hold my DIY and assorted juices. Everything is pretty snug, and I have enough wood left to redo the big bottle holders when I order in some ambers. 2 bolts w/wingnuts to lock will be dropped on also.

I already want to take it apart and start making another, but without proper tools and a bench I don't think I'll do much better.

That's pretty nice, especially for someone without a history of building stuff like this. Now, sand and stain it, maybe a little wood burning drawing on top if you're into it... Just a couple idea's to keep ya from wanting to rip it apart and build another...

Thanks a bunch, means a lot. I'm one of those idea people, always putting things together in my head but never actually doing it, so I decided to just do it regardless.

Oh I got a stain for it, a nice deep red clear one to show off the grain, then I read the warning label on it and decided maybe for now it's best I don't put my juices in until I find one a little less toxic. Honestly, I don't think any cuts were straight, using a jigsaw and a plastic box/my foot to keep it all in place (I took pictures from the good angles). When I get a bit more money I'll get more wood and prefab it where I have access to more equipment and more permanent media storage.
