Would like to know if the lavatube came the way it is or did you paint it? If painted what did you do to prep for painting?
Not paint, torched. Applied an open flame to the individual pieces of the mod until they glowed red hot and then let them cool down. The color you obtain depends on how hot you get the steel. If I didn't get them red hot, which results in a blue tone, the color can vary from an amber color to a brown-earthy hue. I wouldn't recommend doing that to a Lavatube because most of them are anodized and they're aluminum. This mod is a SS GGTS clone.
The provari v2 and the smok telescope came home today. Really dig the solid feel of the Provari. Now I want a mini so I can have the tear drop design......
