PIF: How did you pick your username

I know there are other threads about this but I never get out and about anymore to read other sections. So, what's the story behind your name?

Mine is simple. My real name is Julie. Every forum group already has a dozen Julies on them. Some got to calling me Jules a few years back and that just stuck. The numbers just come from the numbers that I was given with my BellSouth email back when we had that years ago. It just sort of stuck and it lets people know it's the same person.

oh god figures u'd ask this. b4 i give mine should it be the long version that includes nicks leading up to this 1 (had this 1 since'97 or '98 - i'm googleable under this nick though i do think others have tried to imitate me) or if i should start the story of how i managed this 1 ignoring what it evolved from?

My wonderful grandmother.. in her backyard she had tons of lilac bushes.. huge monstrous things.. when she passed away, I would be thinking of her, and get a faint smell of lilacs. Her birthday is (was) February 2nd.. I have this name for an email account, or two! and so now it's easiest to just keep using it.. and it's nice to always have the reminder of her here "with me".. she was a phenomenal woman ♥

Starting when I was around 15 or 16 (which was a good many years ago - lol), I wanted to name my future daughter Adjanni. I just thought it was a cool and pretty name.

Except I never had a daughter. LOL

Later on, when we got our first internet connection and I had to pick a screen name, I decided to use Adjanni. I have used that internet name for a number of years now, and eventually it somehow got shortened to Adja.

Watched too much karate kid growing up and play alot of karate games with the kiddos. My son started calling me sensei as a joke. With all the names taken on internet sites if I spelled it incorrectly , but like it sounds it is never taken! _

Suddenly you can write an ECF Mod and request a name change(assuming the name you want isnt taken).
