This is the end of day 2. I ordered the black pilot from Puresmoker.

Description - Feels nothing like a cigarette although size is very similar. I think this is important to note b/c I could always tell how stressed I was by how crushed the filter on my analogs were. This feels very nice though and is great to figit with between drags. It has 4 holes to drag through and fits in well on my desk. Very inconspicuous.

Interesting observations - I hold the cigarette while at my desk I work in a pretty stressful environment, and instead of getting the urge to take a break and get up I find holding the pilot while at my desk on my keyboard I stay seated and focused longer. I also find a few drags here and there keeps the build up of "oh my god I have to have a smoke" at bay. I vape all day with 2 or 3 drags here and there and a few real vape breaks.

I find it feels more like sipping a hot drink than smoking the softer longer drags is more soothing and gets me breathing deeper. It feels like drinking hot chocolate.

Hardware - I find the longer battery offers a much better experiance. The shorter battery seems to overheat the atomizer. Plust you can kind of hide the longer battery in your had to make sure its working by shading the LED. All in all I am very impressed with how well it works. The charger is nice but the cord is only about 10 inches long I wish it had a longer cord. The weight is a little heavy but lighter than I expected It feels like holding a nice metal pen.

Tools - I took a paperclip and bent it into a stand with a piece sticking up. I use it to push the cartridge up high enough where I can drip juice on it. It works very well. I also made a stand by making a base and wrapping the remaing part around a pen to hold the e-cig while not in use.

I got a needle with it as well, and I really notice no difference between dripping into the cartride and filling from the bottom up. I'm considering getting rid of the needle so the kids don't find it.

Body - I might also say that my bound up back is more relaxed. The nots are fading and as they release my back is spasaming. I'll also say that the nic rush takes about 20-30 seconds for me I had taken 4 big big drags thinking this crap doesn't work then boom. I had a bit of a head ache the first half of the first day, and it took a full day before my lungs were okay with the new "smoke" they were kind of tight.

I have not had an analog and I really didn't think that would happen. I do still want one, but it's very easy to do without. It's just breaking the routine.

I feel like I have more energy, less appetite, and in general more productive.

You can take away the two posts toward my 10 but I keep thinking of things and I cant edit.

If I had it all to do over again. I'd get the best pen style I could. Here's why. First of all for me it doesn't feel comfortable or ballanced to smoke this like a real cigarette. So, If you aren't going to mimic a real one, get one with the best battery life and biggest cartridge. I find my self having to refill my cartridge 3-4 times a day, and switch batterys in the evening to finish the day. I smoked 7-10 camel lights a day. This isn't a pain in the rear but it's close. I would prefer not to have to mess with the e-cig as much. Will I buy a pen? Yes, I most likely will. I'm not upset though because this pilot will have it's place in my pocket it's extreamly mobile, and inconspicuous.

you might want to consider a usb passthrough for home, so you can save your batteries for when you go out. i dont have a pen, but from what i hear, it sounds like the the 401 batteries perform on par with one. the 401 is known to wick liquid well, so im not sure you will get a lot more out of the bigger carts, but i would be curious to see your impressions on comparing the 2.

CB, I've had my Pilot a week now. I totally agree with everything you say about. Lots of topping off and filling. Very small cart. Also the batteries don't last very long. I always seem to be in the middle of charging one when the one I'm using dies.

I've ordered, and am waiting for my Evo to come. Those batteries are interchangable with the Pilot, so more batteries, the better. I believe the Evo carts are larger capacity and also fit the Pilot. I will see when ever I get it.

I was also thinking of getting a UBS passthrough e-cig for at home and on the computer. I want one with good sized carts. I have no idea which is the best, large carts, etc. Just been reading these forums and trying to figure it all out.

Good luck with your Pilot.
