Brooke, like I said, I don't think such skin conditions are necessarily an allergy. From my limited experience, it seems more like a relative dryness issue. I think it's first worth trying some different skin products, which helped me somewhat. A gentle oil-free cleanser and moisturizer are a good start.
For me, though, VG (also a humectant that can dry skin) affects my skin less for some reason. Keep in mind, too, that my zits really began to appear after some months of vaping--and that they may disappear (even with PG) in another few months. I'm just going with the flow while my body adjusts long-term to my new favorite pastime. It's all good.
