I really like your attitude, CarrieM....... the heck with cleaning...... My wife always has said I'd be perfectly happy living in the garage with my tools and projects as long as I had a cot or bed I could sleep on......lol. It drives her nuts when I start something new because she knows I'm like a hound dog on point......I'm completely absorbed in it I don't stop until the project is done ....lol

Thanks Horton, although I didn't say not to do the cleaning, just that it's annoying to have to do something else besides what you want to do lol. There are never enough hours in a day to do everything you need to do, it's really hard to fit in the want to do items too. Plus I don't want to tick off your wife lol

I think I am pretty close (or close as I can get) to a recipe. Only problem is it has quite a few flavors. I used ejuice Me Up to do the recipe, and in the last two flavor sections put 3 on each line. They are sort of the "add to taste" ones. Is there a way I can post the .rec file from BreakTru's program so others can load it and look at it? I'm not real good at attachments and was curious to know if I might be able to do that and then post my notes about the "add to taste" flavors.
Any help or advice would be appreciated...... Thanks

Hi Classy..... Brandon is a little too much of a drive for me with my back. I wish it were closer, but I know they try to move the locations around to "share the driving pain"......
We'll figure something out to get you a sample, providing I don't get laughed off the board for the recipe......

Well, doesn't look like the .rec is a valid file extension to use for posting an attachment, so I'm gonna do this "longhand" so to speak. I don't know if it is OK to email the recipe file or not if requested, but I'll be happy to do so.
This is for an 8ml batch, with nic strength of 10mg -- on the calculator it shows my starting nic strength at 43.5mg - I used up two different PG nic juices, maybe that's why.
I'll do it in drops -- there are quite a few flavors, my apologies, but this is what I came up with.... seems to get better each day btw..... dr = drops , DIYFS = DIYFlavorShack
37 dr nic juice, 30dr PG, 48dr VG, 16dr Lorann Pineapple, 10 dr DIYFS Pound Cake, 3 dr. DIYFS Expert Caramel. Now the fun part. The last 2 flavor categories, I had to put 3 flavors each, but these flavors are small amounts. This is where you can sort of modify to taste. Total of 8 dr for each category. First category has PA Maraschino Cherry, Capella Danish Swirl, PA Brown Sugar. Next one has PA Lemon, PA Vanilla Bourbon, and Ethyl Maltol (1/4 tsp. in 10ml Vodka). I went with 2 dr of Cherry, 4 Danish Swirl, 2 Brown Sugar. In the last category, I used 2 Lemon, 4 Vanilla Bourbon, and 2 EM. I have mixed it up differently and did get slightly different results. I don't know the exact abbr. but I think it is YMMV. I prefer the recipe as I have entered it here.
I hope I have done this clearly enough. Please let me know. As I joked, I did end up with a bunch of flavors, so guess I can use them on the next project...lol.
I hope you feel this is a good recipe. My wife (the UpsideDown Cake expert) said it was excellent, and I really like it even though I'm not a fan of this cake -- it's a nice "change up" for me. I think I said in the beginning this was all her fault -- just joking....I've had a ball doing this.....lol, but I'm dedicating the recipe to her -- Tina's Pineapple UpsideDown Cake.
Please let me know what you think. I'm a little nervous with this being the first recipe I've posted. So,please be gentle.

I don't understand when you say 'category,' do you mean 'variation' as in "a variation of the recipe?"

This is what I got out of your post:

37 dr nic juice…...............24.3%
30 dr PG……..................…19.7%
48 dr VG………..................31.7%
16 dr Lorann Pineapple…….10.5%
10 dr DIYFS Pound Cake….…6.6%
3 dr. DIYFS Expert Caramel...2.0%
2 dr PA Maraschino Cherry.…1.3%
4 dr Capella Danish Swirl..…..2.6%
2 dr PA Brown Sugar……..……1.3%

The calculator had 5 spots for flavorings. That is what I was referring to when I mentioned categories, in the program they are called "ingredients".... I should have used that term. In order to get all 9 flavors into the recipe, I had to put3 flavors on each of those two last lines.
Your numbers are very, very close to what came up in the recipe calculator. eJuice Me Up has spots for 5 flavors, I had nine, so I had to do something to get them all in there. I used the first 3 ingredient lines for the "biggie" ingredients, and the last two for the smaller amounts that you could vary in in how many drops you used if you wanted to alter the recipe. Nothing is cast in stone with the recipe, some may like a stronger EM while others may want more Lemon.
Sorry for the confusion. I wish I could upload the .rec file. It would clear up the confusion. If you want to PM your email, I'll be happy to send it to you.

Here's my attempt at a screenshot. I named it pineapple to keep it short. Hope this comes out OK.

Thank you Deejman2k...... I tried to enlarge it in Paint (the only program I have to edit images) and it looked lousy, so I left it as is. I know it is small, but when I tried to "skew" it, it looked terrible. I used a magnifier glass to read some of the details....lol.
Sorry again for the confusion.... I'm new to the game..... horton

Maybe to clarify some of the really small print..... the last two flavor boxes read cherry/danish swirl/BS and the last box has lemon/vanilla/EM

BS = Brown Sugar
EM = Ethyl Maltol

I hope it's okay if I post what i've gotten with mine so far on here.

It is still a work in progress but so far I'm liking it.
Poundcake 45%
Pineapple 25%....flavourart is the only pineapple I could get to taste right.
Brown Sugar 20%
Butter 10%
When i'm in the mood for a touch of cinnamon I add 1 drop of cinnamon danish swirl in my 6ml mix.

I use Dan's calculator and I do this all at 15% flavor.

Any tweek ideas would be appreciated.

We are all in this together. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned. I'm sure we all have slightly different preferences as to what tastes good. What concerns me about the recipe I put up is the number of flavorings. 9 seems like a lot to me, but it sure tastes good....lol. I had the opposite reaction to the pineapple from you.... I preferred the Lorann. It was the truest tasting pineapple to me, sweet yet a little tart.
The only tweeks I would suggest might be a touch of lemon or cherry.
I think my flavor % was @ 20.
Maybe I'll combine all my test batches together and see what it tastes like??? That might be interesting.
I don't have any Flavorart pineapple left to try your recipe.... will have to get a small bottle to try yours. But I sure have plenty of other new flavors...lol.
