That M3 (black & white) came out really sharp (as did all of them)! How was that material to work with, compared to the others?

Thank you,, it is great that everyone likes their tips :)

Your M3 tip was one of my many favorites.
M3 turns very similar to inlace acrylester. When it is cut it forms short thin brittle ribbons that turn to dust when touched. When the cutting tool starts to dull the cut makes small chips and dust. Half the tru-stone cuts like this as well. These materials are the fragile ones.
The other half of the tru-stone cuts similar to genesis and lava blanks. When cut it forms thin semi flexible ribbons. These materials seem to be semi durable.
Acrylic acetate creates very flexible ribbons that tend to wrap around the work piece when turning. Some of the lava blanks also do this. The acrylic acetate is very durable with the old style stainless core and I am testing it on the hollow cores. I still don't know how durable the lava blanks are, but I have a co-worker testing it in a hollow core.
All of the blanks cut well with high speed steel up to carbide.

Whorkz are you going to have any of the 4mm beta tips added for anyone to get? Would love to snag one for my bro! He likes more open bore tips!
There won't be any 4mm beta hollow core tips for general sale in the next batch. The hollow cores are still in beta. I still have more work to do on cores which is what the new tools are for. If I am successful they will be available for general sale with a 1/8", 4mm or 5mm bore. I am hoping the 5mm bore will be direct drip friendly, the 1/8 and 4mm are not good for dripping.

Hey, Darksparkle. :) The Witch's Brew and the Wizard's Mist look very similar to me except Wizard seems to me more "mixed" in color and the Witch has more purple? Of course, the only way to really know is have them in hand. :p
Even holding them in your hand they are very close. I am pretty sure they are labeled correctly but not 100% sure.

Yes, I still have some work to do on your spheriod tips. Once the lathe has its new tools I will finish the design and send you one to test.
I did notice that the diameter of the connector on the spheriod tip I purchased is 0.330" - 0.332" in diameter. The connector of pinnacle tips are 0.332 - 0.336. If I remember correctly the connector on your requested tips are 0.335" and 0.336". I don't think 4 thousands will matter, but if they don't fit please let me know and I will edit the programming for that device and make you new tips.
