There's only so many ways to skin a cat (or design an e-pipe), Sim. Looks like the cap will screw on to the top (similar to the Kir Fanis pipe), and you'll have to depress the 'power' button in the middle of the cap to fire. So if you're referring to the EPM switch design, I gotta disagree. If anything, I'd say the shank-less design and egg shape is more 'EPM' than the switch. Either way, it's clearly not gonna be a nice hand-crafted wooden e-pipe. Just another mass produced, budget pipe for the folks who don't really care much about the artisan side of the e-pipe culture.

Still, a good move by Kamry, especially with the color coordinated stem/drip tip. I'd def grab one of those before the smok pipe if I had to choose.

You might be right. Hard to tell from the pic, and I do get protective of my friends at EPM. One thing's for sure, China will never be able to reproduce the uniqueness of Matt's pipes.

Agreed. That's what has made Matt's operation stand out for so long. He's a true artist, and people who appreciate that will gravitate in his direction.

Vegan, that pipe is essentially like first pipe I got, which you can see here: e-Pipe DSE618 - Electronic Tank Pipe (Voted Best ePipe)

The pipe that I have is an automatic; it looks like the one you posted might have a button on the side of the bowl?

You might also take a look at this one: King Mechanical ePipe - Electronic Pipe | The Highest Quality and Beautiful ePipe available on the Market! Tank ePipe

I can tell you from experience, that I've used 3 different tanks on the auto, and 2 on the mech, and they worked fine. At AV, you can purchase just the mechanical pipe body.

One thing I noticed is that it looks as if that is a proprietary Vivi tank, made with the stub at the top to fit the pipe stem to. Personally, I don't like that idea, and it limits accessories that you can use. You can get a custom stem from a couple of different places, or you could try and get a tank mouthpiece from Jazz or EPM when they get them back in stock.

Thanks for sharing, Birddog. Cartos just don't work well for me. Can you verify if the Vision Vivi 3.5 ml will fit on your rig?

I had the "Prestige" which was basically the DSE. Worked great for a while but the carto leaked through the auto switch and shorted it out. I tried the Vivi tanks on it before it died and I believe they worked (The BCC tanks did not). I did have to put a short piece of tube between the stem and vivi to attach the stem.

By the way, for anyone considering a DSE 618. I have found, as I learned more, that the proprietary cartos suck. They empart a taste to the smoke that tastes like the wicking material, replacements don't "lock" into the tank, and they just don't smoke well. My Pro Tank II is so much better, and since I just recently got an XL tank w/DCTs, I found that those are much better as well. Better to just get a pipe body, and the tank setup of your choice.

Received my Curly Eucalyptus Dragon from EPM today. I bent one of my BlackRose Fancy stems for it. I think they go perfectly together. Started off with the hair drier and then gave up and went with the boiling water to bend it. Takes quite some time to soften huh?! Vaping Dragons Fire from Heathers Heavenly Vapes in a DID on the Dragon. :)

Are you talking about the tank? I believe it's a Mini DID genisis atty. As for Black Chrome... Nothing that I can think of off the top of my head.
