Ok so I am in the market for a pipe finally. Torn between FTM and epipemods. I really like the option for variable wattage, I'm looking for a pipe I could fit in a pocket, that would last at least 5 hours with regular vaping. Right now I enjoy a vape around 3.8 watts on a 1.8 coil in a kanger evod, 70/30 vg/pg juice for the most part. Help me make a decision on battery size, which company to go with, etc. I am fairly new to the pipe scene. <---Giggity.
If you are gaping @ 3.8, there is no reason to get a vv/vw device. Browse the epm site, find one you like and buy it. Both of mine are fabulous and I don't think you'll find anyone who will say otherwise.
If you want a pocket pipe then I would go for an EPM Gandalf pipe. They should be releasing a bunch of thwm soon and are one of the coolest pipe designs out there. I love FTM as well but they are a bit bigger. I have two of them and I would not call them pocket pipes at all. Just be a little patient right now because EPM has a bunch if really nice pipes about to hit the website as soon as they get back from a show this weekend.
How much do their Gandalf's usually run for? I noticed some of the pipes on their site are around 125.00. Some of the customs I saw for 300 or so and that is just a pinch over my budget.
18350's are usually $125. I believe some 18500's are coming as well and they are around $200. Personally they are my favorite shank less design

I started vaping with an eGo kit and was pretty ambivilent about it. Then I saw a Kamry K-1000 at the local e-cig shop. I wan't say it was love at first sight, but I was more than a bit interested.
I totaly enjoy the pipe experience!
I have some extra cash coming in June and my only decision is whether I go with FTM or epipemods for a good e-pipe.

Great to see all the new models for sale on ePipeMods. I've been thinking about getting either a Jazz or one of the V3 steam pipes. I love the classic look of the Jazz, but not sure I'd love the raised button beside the top of the bowl. For those with experience with these: do the Jazz models comes with any circuit protection (or a VapeSafe)? Do they have a way to lock the firing button so the pipe won't fire in your pocket? How about the Steam pipes?

The Jazz do not have any fuse protection and you can't lock the button. EPMs have the VS and the domed buttons can be turned upside down to prevent firing. You need to come check out the new EPM forum for more information about both. Matt from EPM and Romaniac that makes the Jazz pipes are on there and can answer your questions better than I.

I have a brown wood one that I love. It's a good pipe. Only complaint I had was that the tank connection was only press fitted on and as a result came loose. Had to resolder the wire. I then crimped the female connection slightly and now it's stays on good. Great pipe with a comfortable feel. I also like that it has ego and 510 threads so any tank can go on it. Bought mine local at a B&M. Here's a link to their website:
