Im just getting into this pipe thing..i just ordered the "Brandy - Amboyna Elemental" from EPM...i was introduced to epipes at VapeFestNY...i should have bought one there but i really didnt understand how they worked...now after doing some research and seeing all the different variations and cool things you can customize them with...i cannot wait to receive it in the mail and get playing with it.

I'm interested in converting pipes. As you've pointed out, there are some amazing pipes out there that aren't that expensive. I bought an EPipeMods pipe, and while I love it, $125 was a bit steep for me. It would be fun to make one. What all is in there? A button, a magnet, a keyring, a modified 510 connector and a Vapesafe2?

Someone who's a bit more handy aught to put up a DIY step by step. The Vapesafe2 and the button set you back $35.00, everything else is so cheap it hardly matters. Man... I want to covert this one:
Why waste money on Vapesafe2?

If ya really feel the need you can get a 47¢ PTC.

I second Willy on this.....All though I don't use that fuse.

When I was looking for a resettable fuse, I bought two kinds(didn't know what I would like)....16R300GPR (like the MF-R400) and 2920L300DR...(See this Thread>Page 10>#93)... Or link to Mouser in Willy's post and enter the two numbers....

The 2920L was the easiest, for me, to put in a pipe body ....

As for "really feel the need".....On one of my first pipe mods...I created a short (me being stupid) and the pipe body and the battery got really- really hot....

duckie..........

Edit.....To be fair......I should also say that the Vapesafe2 is a drop in, and can be used on other mods...

Been working on a stand for my pipe. It started out as a stand I made a long time ago for my GLV Super Mini that I no longer use. Its made out a slab of delrin I have and was originally cut with my CNC Router. It was sitting on my desk and I had the thought that it might be able to turn into a pipe stand. Pulled out my pocket knife and went to town. Turns out that I would need some sort of prop to hold the pipe up at a proper angle so I took another stand I had made and cut the end off and glued it on and carved it to fit. I haven't finished yet and may never fully finish it because I have grand ideas of carving designs all around it so it doesn't look so much like a toilet.
