Here's Mauna Loa. I recieved the stem today and I have to say that it really changes the entire personality of the pipe. I'm going to do a review of it real soon.

Bonjour Everybody - from Paris France...

Sorry to interrupt... I enjoy reading this thread for days. So much imagination & such beautiful objects! Epipe vaping is something else, then enjoying an unique crafted epipe, that belongs only to you, is even better... then making your own epipe is even better. Strangely enough, as I discover epipes, I also rediscover my old-fashioned tobacco pipes - still smoking from time to time... I read somewhere that pipe smokers live 2 years more than the average non-smokers, says a scientific study. This is due to the fact that they take time to destress when they smoke... far from the mading crowd... I cannot imagine how much longer epipe smokers live...:)

also, I saw a few pages before a list of makers... I would like to add Julnais at creavap - hand crafted lovely epipes and really lovely guy... We discuss on the french forum - ECF little brother - and he is making more traditional - orientated epipes also, a bit like Jazz Cartopipes...

Tezcatlipoca, I have a King ePipe. I'm very happy with my purchase. Works great with 510 tanks. Only two minor negatives: 1) I had to do a little dremel work to get carto adapter/extension to fit if I wanted to use cartos 2) the stem is a little loose when placed in the carto. I'm looking for a slightly thicker o-ring which should help that. I'm finding I like the tank approach better.

I suppose there is a third con: Danger of losing control. I now have the taste for pipes and will be soon diving down mod path. Puma's creations are providing an inspiration. I think I've decided on Amazon.com: Smoke Pipe - Old Army No 21 - Pear Wood Root as the target of my first conversion. Never having built a mod or done a conversion, I suspect my biggest challenge will be the switch.

The king seems like the best bang for the buck out there. Some have said they don't last long though. I'm considering a bare "body" as I have some stems I bought separately from them already.

I need some of those thicker o-rings, if they are only a few cents each please buy an extra 10 for me and I'd gladly repay you.
