I got a lot of comments when I posted a pic of this and a few others I made in DaBatMan's thread a while back,
so I figured I would put some new pics up and see what the vaping community thought about this evil thing.

Here's what I'm yammering about:
IMG_20120216_170425.jpgIMG_20120216_170749.jpgIMG_20120216_170801.jpgIMG_20120216_170813.jpg

510 sealed connector(shown here with a kanger xl threaded in).
Built-in 3.7v 1200 mAh protected LiPo battery.
Built-in charger.
Also acts as 5-volt passthru(switch beside "hammer").
USB port in the base of the handle.
fast color changing LED(mag-release button).

Just put it in your mouth and pull the trigger to fire.

Fits most size 3 auto holsters, however,
I refuse to carry it around due to its semi-realistic appearance.

Don't wanna be the first man in America to be shot for vaping.

oh, ho, ho!
you so clever!:glare:
just kinda happened...
I was digging through the 99cent toy bin in my local thrift store looking for interesting project enclosures, when I found this cheap light gun from some off brand video game in there with no other parts to match it.
When i got it home, my madvapes order was in my mailbox with some 510 connectors.

I loved the nice "clicky" trigger switch so much that i spent the next few hours making this happen.
The type-B usb port was not ideal, but it's what I had at the time. I had just scrapped out an old flatbed scanner and that's where I got the switch also.

I wanted to make one with a toy phazer-type pistol, but still havent found one.

I'm pokin' Goggles:p, from what I can see in the pics it's looks like a clean, HQ build...it's just where would you ever use that???, I mean vaping out public gets us some sideways glances sometimes...but pull that bad boy out in a Walmart for a quick pull...that thing screams full felony take-down:laugh:

OMG! I was just diving through some search results for "toy laser pistol" and found a laser-tag set that will shock you when you get hit! Awesome!

Thanx, Dotma

sadly this little badass lives at my desk and gets more use as a passthrough than for it's battery.

I put a VV module in there for a week or so but I had issues with the protection circuit faulting out when I took it up over 5 volts, so I took it back out and hooked the 5v PT option back up with a diode so it wouldn't pull too many amps from my supply.

simpler is better in my experience.

that's actually a really good idea. I'm making some VV laser pistols next, I'll be sure to do that with them. I've got 2 unused bluetooth earpieces in my parts bin.
I could gut em' out for the boards.
they run on 3.7 volt LiPo batts anyway
that way I can set my LEDs to light up the tank and the standby lights will blink constantly. . it'll look awesome.
