I got some new flavors/e-liquids from a local B&M last night and it seems like they all have sort of a plastic after-taste. Is this a sign of cheap "stock" they are using? Or are my taste buds finally kicking in and it's always been there?
Might be from the plastic bottles they came in especially if they have been sitting on the shelf for a while. Try removing the caps and let them sit in the medicine cabinet for a few days. Also shake them real good for 30 to 60 seconds every day while they are steeping and before using. Hope this helps.
Good juice should not have the taste that you describe.... No juice should really. I agree, try steeping it a bit and see how it tastes after a week to 10 days. Have you changed your coils lately? Maybe it's a burnt taste from your coils? Do you have any other juice that you used in the past and does it taste the same way?
Umm, could be you are tasting the plastic in your atomizer. Tis why I prefer full metal jacket atomizers or at least glass tanks. Yeah once your taste buds start to recover, one picks up all kind of subtleties that previously were not detected.

I went on a shopping spree last night. I was REALLY frustrated with battery life of my old set up and bought a Sigelei Legend Mod and upsized to a Kanger Pro Tank II with 2.5Ohm coils. The coils are fresh from my purchase last night. I'm not getting a burnt taste, I've experienced that before.
I bought sample size of the flavors and they seem be full to the tip of the spout of the squeeze-bottle. Not sure how much "airing" out these guys can get. Guess I could squeeze out the extra and pull off the tip?
I suppose that couldn't hurt. I don't know if I'd store them in the medicine cabinet, though. I've always kept mine in a cool-ish dark cabinet, away from heat and humidity.
