If you use electronic cigarettes or know someone who has benefited from the technology, please give what you can to ensure the future of electronic smoking. We appreciate any amount.

Even though ECA is a Non-profit, it is filled as a 501c6 and donations will not be tax deductible. However every dollar is needed in this fight to keep electronic cigarettes on the market!

Please become a supporter of the ECA!

This is not a non-profit venture though. By very definition, it is a a business league, for profit. Yet you're asking for donations? Register a proper non-profit and I'd happily donate. But an organization that is for profit and will not make all of their accounting and minutes of meetings public, they're certainly not getting anything from me.

A 501c6 IS A NON-PROFIT

here is the wiki on the differences in the tax filings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/501(c)

This is suppliers' association. Why are you asking for donations? I don't 'donate' money to my local newsagent.

Is your local newsagent fighting an uphill battle to beat censorship or a ban ....no..... then that may be the reason they are not looking for your support?

Every dime of money raised is going toward the publicity, media and lobbying needed to stop a full on, across the board, FDA ban of the ecig in the US, and in other nations across the globe.

Not one supplier or manufacturer will receive 1 cent of the monies raised. All money raised is going toward the cause as stated above.

If you cannot afford or choose not to donate your money, your time and voice will be equally as important and we invite you to add the link to your signature and blog as a sign of support. I support the ECA - ECAssoc.org

Thank you.

I would hope some of you would re-think your concerns about donating to the ECA. Look at the video by the new President of the Association. They are trying to protect this activity that means so much to all of us. Do they (the suppliers) also have a financial incentive to want vaping to remain a legal activity? Well, yes and so what? Many of us have an even more important reason for this activity to remain legal and grow - our physical health! The needs and goals of vaping consumers and vaping suppliers are not mutually exclusive! Our goals are exactly the same regardless of the possible difference in our motivations. There has to be an organized, professional and well delivered message on the merits of personal vaporizers. The ECA is trying to provide that structure so we ALL can benefit.

I have not as yet, communicated with anyone in the ECA but I did just make a small donation because the use of PV's will be taken away if their isn't a strong, unified group to represent our legitimate interests.

Let's use our common sense. Is there another effective alternative to protect our rights and interests?

I would like to add the link you provided but when I click on it, it takes me to a message "that this page cannot be viewed or found". Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Well, I do not understand some of you guys.

ECA so far, as in my knowledge is the first and unique effort form an organization in order to try to defend the use of e-cig.

Is there any other organization that is not formed buy suppliers, factories or so, but formed by common people without any economic interest? If it exists please let me know, I would like to be part of it.

If it does not exists, so why not to support ECA? Just because it is formed buy persons/companies with not only the interest of the e-cig, but also with an economic interest?

Well, always it is about the money. An organization needs funds to work, so unless some one has the money to fund the start, at least, of an organization without any economic interest, I think ECA is the best choice now. I think also, that it is the best kind of organization since it fails, it will hurt the pokets of the persons/companies the start and matain it! So, they must try their best to succed in their task!

A lot of you have said that even with the ban, you are going to be able to get your stuf. That can be true, but it will be more difficult to get it for a lot of reazons. For example, the credit card paymet will be very difficult, since Visa, Mastercard and all the other cards will not allow (in time) online e-cig purchase, so you will have to pay by WU or Wire. And if you have a problem with your order....how are you going to have your money back?

Puresmoke will not be able to produce its e-cig in the USA also. So you will have to keep buying from your beloved China!

Also, for all of us that do not live in USA, the impact of a ban by the FDA will hurt us as well. Do not think otherwise, it will hurt us!

Well, that is what I do think.....

ECA can count with me!
