Hi Everyone,
Going on my second smoke free month now! I am an Engineer/Musician
from Chicago and have created this point of purchase display for bars
in the area and also for home use. The idea is to get people familiar with
vaping where they really need it, in Illinois bars where smoking has been banned. This unit will sit behind the bar and cartomizers will be offered to the patron for sale on an individual basis. They will have free use of the battery while at the establishment and will be charged for it if they don't return it, of course they can keep the cart. batteries will also be for sale, five packs of carts and usb chargers. If you want to try this in your local bar, please contact me at Vapormountain@gmail.com

What do you think?
Thanks,
John

Cool idea. Definitely will need to keep more batteries charged and ready. My husband and I went through 9 or 10 Joye 510 batteries when we went out to the bar the other night. That's 4-5 each. So plan on 3-5 battery uses per patron.

Yeah.. but. With the KR808D-1, one battery will get most people through the evening. Especially if it is an XL.

This general concept is already being test-marketed in my area. One guy is servicing about a half-dozen establishments. His setup is a bit different. He uses the 10-battery charger (like the one that Cignot carries) with KR8 adapters permanently installed. The batteries are badged with the establishment name on it (kinda like golf range balls... "Stolen from..."). His setup holds about 400 cartomizers and he usually handles about 40 different flavors. His rig has slots in it for holding the credit cad or driver's license associated with the loaner battery, and the layout is pretty professional.

So far, so good.

Thank's very much for the feedback Everyone!

It occurred to me that making them modular and supporting just three chargers and batteries was the most economical way to get started and get data. If for instance a bar I service needs more horsepower after introducing one, I'll simply bring them another one or two units. Also, I thought this might be a nice size to have for home use as well. I am also thinking about a matching drawer unit for juice and what else. Scottbe, thank you especially for that info ! Can you give me the name of one of those establishments? , I'de like to check it out in person.
Cheers!

I think it looks wonderful!
I was a bartender/manager for too many years to count, I left the business when the smoking bans started.
I think this is a great idea!
In fact I would like to have one at my home for friends and family that still smoke but are not allowed to do so in the house. I already offer everyone a pv and carto while they are here, but that would be a nice addition to my home bar.
I went to your link but it is not working.
