Good advice Racehorse.

I don't know if it's "good" advice, despite my strong opinions about some subject matter, I am in essence, judicious when it comes to making a decision that requires some hair splitting.

As far as five pawns, I will finish and enjoy my last queenside… But I will never buy them again. I don't care if they reformulate them so they are as healthy as spinach.

I am not really into sinking anybody, only in receiving information I feel is important to my health. Some companies do not behave well just like some racehorse owners do not when they lose. California Chrome had owners who were bad sports on occassion but I loved the trainer and the horse. Sometimes it is almost *tragic* the mistakes in judgement people make when they are emotionally tweaked and stressed.

Anyway, just give it to me straight, let me buy stuff, and get on with my daily life and vaping. If you jerk me around don't expect a pat on the back.

It's not like there haven't been vendors who have "crewed" me since I started vaping 3 years ago. But I find the ones who don't now. :)

That's a great idea..I have been talking with Maz a bit on some of these suppliers..The masterminds need to get together with emails to suppliers. You know,..to put them all on notice so to speak..lol :p
I had my "fill" of that back in 2013-2014 with flavor makers and ejuice makers. Too worn out now to go thru that again.

Quite frankly, guys, I would let THEM come forward.

I wouldn't be bothering w/calls and emails. UNLESS they were selling something I couldn't live without. but that's just me.

Keep in mind, there are plenty of vapers, as a matter of fact, probably most, who don't give a durn about diketones. If you want to vape diketone free, then keep the diketone free vendors topic going, make the spreadsheets so others who want to vape *that way* have access to information they NEED.

Let other vendors sell what they want and let their customers buy them. I don't want this to be like "you HAVE TO TEST" because really, that is not the case, is it? Plenty of customer don't care about that and wouldn't read it anyway.

Love the spreadsheet idea, maybe somebody can comb the diketone free vendor topic, and other posts they see around here, and start making a sheet. Seem like better time spent than nagging vendors who should already be taking care of whatever it is they need to take care of. :)

You know,..to put them all on notice so to speak..lol :p

Well that isn't really what I'm interested in. Because ONLY people who want to vape diketone-free are interested in vendors who show it isn't there.

Not sure what they are being "put on notice" about?

I hope everyone realizes that it was NOT the test results that got 5P into problems, it was not following up on them with C9, one of their distributors, then emails found on twitter ect. where they told customers no AP, then test results were unearthed that showed otherwise, and then finally, the (IMHO) fatal move was getting overly-litiguous and starting in with the lawsuit stuff. I mean, if you "tried", you couldn't have made more mis-steps in a row IMHO.

But I am not requiring all vendors to test. Only the one "I" buy from. :) That is HOW I got involved in this in the first darn place! I just wanted to know which had diketones and which did not, and it was like climbing Mt. Vesuvius to find that out. All I want is show me test results IF you say there are no AP or diketones, etc. and do not try to BS me.

Dose makes the poison. I don't see any harm in just finishing the juices you already have then moving to other stuff. People have been using this stuff for a few years and we haven't seen any health issues so far that you can actually point at the additives and go "that's what did it!" so I highly doubt that it would make any difference. I say vape the .... out of it and enjoy before switching.

I wouln't worry to much unless you've several liters stocked up. :)
I'm personally vaping up all my diacetyl-known juices. However i don't think i'll buy new ones later, which is sad since i love custardy juices.

And i'm glad i steered away from 5p due their pricing.

Also learning how to DIY is a great way to minimize bad juices. I'm trying to learn it abit better nowadays. I've mostly done it for fun/testing the waters.
But i think taking the time to learn DIY full time, is more cost effective + you'll know what you're vaping. (If you buy flavorings who states ingredients)

Well after this five pawns scare, I am absolutely flipping.
Simple question. Can I at least finish these three bottles that I have of each of these beloved flavors?..or toss them.
I mean.. I smoked for years. Finishing up these flavors I love for the last time 'in the scheme of things' would be ok.. no?.
You inhaled thousands of chemicals smoking for decades and you are flipping out over something in certain juices? I have yet to see any hard evidence that diacetyl or AP causes any health related issues. IMHO people are making a mountain out of a mole hill with this topic. Regardless of diactetyl in the juice or not, is is safer than smoking? Absolutely.

Do you give the same scrutiny to every products ingredients at the supermarket before you put it in your cart? I am pretty sure the stuff in the Twinkie I ate or the stuff in my tap water is going to kill me far sooner than the stuff in the juice I vape. Vaping is not 100% absolutely safe, nor should we expect it to be. Everything we do in life has inherent risk and can kill you including the air and water.

Cheers.

I have to agree with this. When I read a thread like this or any of the other numerous ones over the past couple of days, I picture in my head, one of the old 60's movie trailers of people running screaming for their lives from the blob or something. Not that there's anything wrong with the concern over this, but I'll hold off running through the streets screaming and throwing everything in the trash until it's a bit more conclusive.

BTW, I know they are testing for D/AP in finished liquid but has/is anyone testing the actual vapor to see what the concentrations are in what we are actually inhaling? I would like to see what those results show...

The power of suggestion. It's amazing to watch it play out here.

Racehorse,..according to Dr. F and a few other studies I have been diving head first into..No amount of AP/DA is a safe amount to vape..Seems that more studies of AP/DA have been done than I realized..I'll share some links later on as I'm still picking through those tests.

Hmmmmm....you've pretty much vaped all of it already, & now you're scared of it because you've read all of these scary posts?! Just vape it & enjoy it, I promise you that the rest of it isn't going to make you drop dead.
Hello all! I was wondering if I could get some advice. I am a 48-year-old. I smoked on and off for much of my life.
I discovered vaping last year. I have been so happy with it. Here is the dilemma. In a nutshell, my 3 all day vapes are Queenside, Strawnilla, and Looper. These have been it for about 7 months.
I vape maybe 2 ml a day. Used to be about 1 ml.
Well after this five pawns scare, I am absolutely flipping.
Queenside and the strawnilla are loaded with ap. I would imagine so is Looper.
I have become
more aware now, and I'm going to move to ap and Diactycl free e juices. I see a terrific list is developing here in the forum, with vendors that post their test results.
