curious how you discovered that you could make your own e-juice?
When I started vaping there were 2 flavors - "tobacco" and "mint" - neither being very tasty.
When vaping the "tobacco" flavor - really missed the taste of burning things and so knew I would need to make something that had as much (or more) flavor than an actual cigarette if I was ever going to be able to totally quit.
First started with the "mint" juice and made the flavor much stronger using only uncolored or light colored food flavorings from where ever I could find them - then from there started making all different flavors - first by getting unflavored bases from China - which was about the only place I could find them (or e-cigarettes for that matter) - and food flavorings from all over the world.
Guess it helps I used to be a chef :^)
Took a while before the "trend" spread to the US and e-cigs and juice were available here - but by then I was hooked on making my own juice - any flavor imaginable - and so haven't purchased any pre-mixed juice since that mint back in 2008.
Finally quit analogs completely in 2009.
When I first found them - E-cigs were basically generic 3 piece (cartridge, atomizer and battery) cigarette sized things - many even colored like an actual cigarette - which were later followed by the 510 and 901 models - also cigarette sized.
..... now there are So many choices for juice and equipment!
People don't realize how great they have it - not having to clean their atomizers out once or twice a day to prevent their "cig-a-likes" from leaking all over the place - having batteries you can turn off so they don't turn on in their pockets - and tanks and carts that can hold so much juice they last all day - not just 10 (or so) puffs!
