Hi Everyone!

I have been a pack a day smoker for the past 15 years, however I am getting hitched in a little over a month and made a commitment to my fiance that I would stop. I recently decided to try esmoke.net's product after trying a disposbale pack I got at a concert. They are based about 20 minutes away from me and all of their stuff is made in the US so it seemed like a big win. To make a long story short, their product is not good, specifically the battery life. I am lucky if I get two uses out of each battery (40 puffs max). I even exchanged the original model for a different model that they told me would get better battery life, but that wasn't the case.

My dilemma now is that I have simply fell in love with vaping but can't put up with the hastle and inconvenience of having to constantly keep them on the chargers. I've read around this forum for awhile and have seen A TON of suggested models out there, but Im hoping I can tell you all what I liked about esmoke and you can help me find something with those qualities.

Things I like:

1. Two part system
2. Significant vapor output
3. Similar size to a cigarette
4. flavor (this one don't matter much bc I can still purchase e-juice from esmoke if I wanted to)

The battery life is probably my biggest need though, as I travel a lot for work and don't want to be chained down to a charger!

Everyone on here seems so knowledable so Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction! I have really fell in love with vaping but have become so discouraged lately. Im at a point where I dont even enjoy analogs anymore, but I dont want to go back simply for the convenience of them!

Thank you so much in advance!

Anthony

You could solve your battery problem by ordering batteries from a different supplier, I use a modded m403 made by prosmoke.com

the batteries that I got from them don't charge right, but the manual battery that I got from a different website works perfectly! the charger recognizes the batteries properly(i.e. the light turns green and stays green consistently) and it lasts longer.

yeah try a different supplier

If battery life is your primary consideration, the Riva might be a good choice for you or the eGo. They both get me 8-10 hours of vaping. I listed Riva first because it has a slightly larger battery than the eGo. However, neither looks like a cigarette. You could get either in white, but that's about as close as it comes. They are officially three piece sets but if you were to use a cartomizer they become two. They're about as thick around as a AA battery and around as long as a 100 cigarette.

Although I don't have any personal experience with them, from what I gather the ones that most resemble a cigarette seem to spend more time on the charger than they do in your hand.

Vapor output would be dependent a lot on the juices you use, and I believe the low resistance atomizers/cartomizers produce more vapor and throat hit than the standard style, although I use standard and have no complaints.

For really extended battery life and huge amounts of vapor, one of the 5 volt modification/mods might be right for you, but they look even less like a cigarette. They seen to carry illustrative names such as box mod and screwdriver.

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for such quick replies already! I should clarify, Im not concerned with it looking like a cigarette, I just don't want something thats a foot long either.. lol The vapor king has caught my attention because I see it comes with a portable charging case which I would imagine would help the battery issue. Makes me sick that I paid 50 dollars more for the esmoke product than the top of the line product vapor4life offers... ugh

    Anthony-
You can get the four things you want in a pv very easily. You want a kit that has cartomizers instead of atomizers. Go to the ecf library (accessible from the main page) to understand the mechanics of this if need be. The two most common starter kits that meet your criteria are the 510 or the kr808-d1. Numerous suppliers sell these kits with all included to get you started, then you just need to buy juice and backup cartomizers, etc. On the main page about halfway down is a link to the suppliers forum, there are numerous threads there that will direct you to the current "best deals." For around $40-50 you can be fully set up. Welcome to vaping and the forum, ask questions and read up, you will be fine. Good luck!

Kr808D-1! It's a two-piece system, and the longest-lasting battery in the "mini" category.

It is slightly bigger than a cig, but here's the fact of the matter: You will NOT find a model of e-cig that is the exact size of a cigarette, and has good battery life. Point blank. The Kr808D-1 is about 117mm long, and a bit wider. But still cig-shaped. You will get used to the slight increase in size pretty fast.

The cartomizers last me about 3 hours, and the batteries last me 6.

DONE- Ordered the KR808 just now.. you guys are awesome! Thank you so much for such quick responses and even saving me some money! I used express shipping so i'm hoping it'll be here by Friday. I can't wait! Thanks again! I'll definitely be hanging around this site for awhile.

You will not be disappointed. That's what I went with after my Blu fiasco. The KR808D-1 Is an awesome model and V4L is a great company to deal with. If you have any problems, let them know and they will make it right.

I have the Blu. Dont laugh. I did the blu foam mod and it works a thousand times better as far as vapor production goes. I lost a batt already and now I'm screwed. You must have two batts and the pcc or your left high and dry smoking analogs. I'm upgrading soon to the Ego. The blu does produce good vapor and the attys are good you just got to drip or mod and have lots of batts. Going to give it to my mom after I get my Ego.

If I was you I would get a Ego and alot of cartomizers.

I myself went with the KR808 from V4L for pretty much the same reasons. Here's some things I've figured out in the month I've had it.

Get blank carts or clean out the ones you have now and e-Liquid. Fill them yourself. I've found this seems to work best for keeping the flavor and wet feeling vapor. Every morning I top off the ones I've used and keep 4 in the carrying case. Just rotate them so that you don't let one set.

If your close to a computer most of the time or you drive long distances get a USB pass-though. For the car pick up a USB port car adapter and then you can plug your pass-through in a vape away without worrying about batteries.

Hey Ant. I suggest the Riva and some 510 cartomizers. I use my Riva with an adapter and kr808 cartos because I like the flavor better on the 808s. Battery lasts me 6 to 8 hours and I vape like a steam engine. A good place to get the Riva and cartos is here VaporJunction, E-Cigarette Supply
$50.00 for a double Riva kit and $8.00 for a box of blank cartos. The voltage on a Riva battery is a little higher (4.1V) than a regular ecig battery so you'll get a little better hit with it.
If you want a "kick in the pants" hit and a bigass cloud of vapor though you can get that from a 5 volt mod with a carto on it. One I like is the GLV 2, 5V model. Check it out here. Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor
