Please help! I need an 808 Passthru for my computer.

My passthru just died. I can't believe it. I loved that passthru. I really did. I just bought it less than a month ago and it died and then I read that a regular passthru should not be used all the time on a computer. So admittedly I was using it on my computer alllllllll the time.

Please tell me where I can buy another one that perhaps is higher quality. Thanks!

I'm bumping this in hopes that someone knows where I can get a 808/901 5V PassThru.
Health keeps me stuck at a computer all day and I would really like to go to a 5V experience or at least not have to charge batteries all of the time,

I do have a 510 as well and could use a 510 passthru but would prefer one for the 808's and 901's because I have more 'stuff' for them,

Hey Ken, I've been using V4L's passthrough for months. I use it with a USB wall plug because I don't want to take a chance on ruining my computer. Theirs is 5V. It has as sturdy cord and is connected well to the passthrough. They are made for 808 cartos. They have manual and automatic. I use the automatic. I tried a manual and it worked fine for a couple days until the button broke. V4L replaced it with an automatic one. I think I probably just got a faulty one, but since these things last a long time and having the manual button doesn't really matter to me, I opted for it to be replaced with an automatic. I got my USB wall plug from Walmart.com Walmart.com: iQ-Power Dual USB AC Power Adapter: iPods & MP3 Players. Hope this helps.

Here's another huzzah for V4L's PT - they're much more durable than others I've checked out. I ALWAYS use a manual and have really given the one I'm using now a heavy workout, for ages; no problems at all.
