oh no....
the vamo in full size 18650 battery is huge. fyi. If you're okay with that then fine. If it vibrated instead of vaped no one would be surprised. Don't leave it on the night stand.
New and improved all-star starter kit
vamo v2 free-cigs.com stainless
4 18350imr button tops
2 18650imr button tops
xtar wp2 charger$20 wherever you can find it
5Kanger EVOD clearomizers
5 replacement heads
32 and 30 Kanthal a-1 wire eBay
wick material of choice 1mm

I use natural 1mm hemp twine from lovepedal eBay
boil3 Times for 20 minutes changing water each time to remove corn starch used to make the twine. Then leave in oven overnight on warm setting to dry.160-170° prevents any mold growth.

haha If it vibrates, I have a great conversation piece!! Lmaoooooo!! Thanks, nice list and I didn't realize you could purchase items on ebay. Plus, that was another thing I didn't know, the type of wire and wick material generally used.

Go with this. Some of his post doesn't make sence. I think he {edit}. But the hardware is good

sence?
hemp twine has nothing to do with {edit}. It's a great natural worry free wick material. You can use cotton as well. Hemp is more durable.

Awesome! I read that a bottom coil is so much better then the top, which is understandable as to why. Thank you for the combination of links. :)

Bottom coil is not better than top coil. The correct thing to say is that it's better for some, and top coil is better for others. :) For example, I prefer a top coil, as I don't mind tilting the device some, and I feel I get a warmer vape w/a top coil. To me, a bottom coil is a cooler vape, and I reserve that for when I'm in the mood for minty or menthol.

Some swear by one type, and some another. Just like the devices, you have fans of most of the available types who sometimes are fanatic about their preferences.

This is what's great right now is that there are so many choices, and you can try a little of everything to find what is right for you. :)

I use the hemp twine because of paranoia threads from here about silica. There really is nothing proven about it but,I just pursued safer alternatives anyway. Silica is what just about every ecig uses as wick material. It wicks better than anything, can be dry burned, and is very durable.
The twine wicks almost as well, can't be dry burned, pretty durable and is 100% paranoia thread free

Very Very True! Thus, you all have helped me SO MUCH!! You have no idea!! Being able to test drive different variables and having the corresponding links, so I'm not having to hunt parts, when I had no idea which parts I even needed. All I can do is say BIG THANK YOU!!! After all your help, my frustration level went down to zero and the smile was put hugely back onto my face, once again. haha :)

This is generally true. I am a recent convert to bottom coil changeable clearos, however, I have a couple of top coil eGo cc clearomizers that work flawlessly and they have super short, invisible wicks.

IMHO, it doesn't matter so much what battery you get; they are all good--from the small vv eGo-C Twists and Vision Spinners to the most advanced APVs. It's what you attach to your battery that decides how good (or bad) your vape is going to be. A Boge cartomizer will perform pretty much the same on a vv eGo as on a Darwin. The real trick is finding a cartomizer/atomizer that you will like.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Thanks! Very Very helpful! Sorry, I bet you get alot of noobies like me. I spent several weeks going through this forum and vendors, just to end up more confused. Everyone has been so helpful!!!!! Like I said, I think for me and I'm sure for other noobie's like myself, its easier for us if we can get a kit, simply because we are not familiar with the parts required at such an early stage in vaping. :)

No need to feel sorry, I think it's great that you and others are looking for advise. I research every purchase I make thoroughly.

I feel for you and all the New Vapors. The options available are mindblowing. I feel that Vaping will save peoples lives but if new vapors go with the wrong equipment, they might not make it and they might become disgruntled.

I was a new vapor 4 years ago and it was much harder back then, I went through a extreme learning curve. The right equipment is much easier to find these days. Back then most equipment was junk. First I started with a cig look a like. That didn't last long because I needed battery life and larger cartridges. Than 3 or so problematic mods until I ponied up for a GG Golden Greek and finally I bought a Provari. Recently I lost my trusty Provari and did research and felt that the Chinese were catching up or surpassing Provape.! So I replaced my Provari with a Sigelei Zmax and a Itaste MVP. The best of both worlds. I ended up using the Itaste more because I like the form factor and it looks more elegant than the Sigelei.

Vaping is taste and everyone is different. The Itaste MVP only hit the market in November but it's a great option for someone who just wants to vape and not have to worry about chargers, batteries, millions of menus etc... When you think about it, sure Variable Wattage is handy, but just start from 3.7v and go up by .1v until it tastes good. The end result is the same!! Just the old fashioned way is easy for a new vapor.

I truly appreciate it. It is one reason, why I want to learn everything I can, including making my own juice. Its always good to know what you are vaping in the most healthiest format...well as possible that is. :)

My preference is bottom coil. I like the cooler vape. Also I like that I don't have to worry about tilting the Clearomizer to keep the wick wet. In addition on the liquid that I use top coil pulls the lighter particles first and leaves the heavier ones to the last so when you get down to the bottom of the clearo it's thick and dark. Some might like that. With bottom coil seems like my juice stays more stable.

I agree it's a matter of taste and their is no right or wrong.

It is confusing and I have to admit, I was getting really frustrated, but with everyone's help, I'm no longer frustrated and clearly obtained a vast amount of new found knowledge. Eventually, I will be able to give back and help all the new comers, as you all have helped me. I'm so excited to finally be free of analogs and I'm already trying to convert anyone who will listen. However, helping others will mean alot more once I've learned it myself.

Thank you so much for taking the time and for being so patient, considering how many times you guys have had to answer this same question. :)

I have not tried it yet, but a bunch of the vapors I trust here on ecf said it is much better then the t3..no more gurgle or leak

IMO only--it's not any better than the T3s. The only advatage of the eVod is that the replacement coils are much cheaper because you don't have to replace the base--just the coil head, which brings the price down. I hear rumors that Kanger will make the change for T3s also in the future. I had minor gurgles and a spray of hot juice from my eVod (when the juice level was low). Gurgles don't bother me, hot juice sprays do. Nothing is perfect. :)

That said, I had no major problems with any of my BCCs.

So far, I am favoring the cooler vape myself and I do like the idea of having a more stable juice, along with not having to tilt. I am definitely looking forward to trying the bottom coil, as the tank I have now is a top. :)

Just what I was going to say. It just works. Had the t3s and leaked and gurgled.. then repeat...
Gives a real nice vape.
The low capacity is the only drawback1.5ml(if it prevents the gurgles I'm fine with it) and I don't vape anything that breaks up the plastic.
Kind of leaks when really really low. like empty
