Okay so ive been using the blu plus kit for about a month now, almost xompletely stopped smoking analogues. But the costs of buying 3 tanks, which if im lucky will last 3 days, is getting absird to the point where im almost spendingg more than i was with analogues. It costs me between 15-18 for 3 tanks dependi gg where i buy em. Now i have saved up a lil money and want to buy a vape that wont hurt my wallet so much or so often. So heres the deal:

I need to know what vape will work best for my needs, and my attempts to research this have continuously proven confusing. What i need is something thats safe to transport-- i ride a pedal bike to work everyday, about a 30 minute ride to and back. I do t want one that will break or leak if i have to cram it in my pocket. I also need one that has a good battery life, as my biggest fear is having it run out when i need nicotine at my job. I also am horrible with fixing things and therefore would seriously need one that is extremely low maintenance. And lastly, it needs to be one that i can refill and not have to buy new prefilled cartridges all the time--i want the option to flavor it with whate er eliquid is available.

Thank you so much in advance for any advice you can give me. Specific models and prices for said models would be greatly appreciated!!

Ps. Sorry for any typos, this stupid ipad wont let me edit anything

Edit: also, the smaller the better, i imagine the pen style vapes would suit me the best but other suggestions are still wholeheartedly welcome and appreciated

Hi

Very recognisable story. Most of us started out with a set that either drove of nuts or cost a bundle to maintain.

If you like penstyle and low maintenance something like this
$18.90 EGO-EVOD 6-in-1 Rechargeable 1100mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - double e-cigarettes / silver / 2.4Ω / US plug adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Is very easy to use and trouble free.
Don't forget to order some coil heads at the same time (link also on the same page).
Most vape stores will sell similar sets if you don't like ordering online. Both my parents have been using them for over 2 years now and are still content. The battery (ego) can be replaced easily as they last for about 6-12 months.

Cleaning is easy too. Just unscrew the tank and take it apart. 3 parts only incl the replaceable coilhead. Flush with water and you're done.

Best to buy a set with 2, so you can charge one while vaping the other.

I estimate the maintenance cost somewhere around 10$ a month in coil heads excl liquid

Note regarding your edit: smaller is better but also means smaller battery so shorter vape time.

Try an iStick 30 with a Smok Micro GDC. There is an adapter that lets you fold the tank over alongside the mod. Folded, it is roughly the size of a pack of cigs. To me, a long pen style set up would be more likely to break than a pack of cig size. I gave mine to my girlfriend when I upgraded, and she hasn't broken it yet. The tank does come with a spare glass, and metal encased versions are avalible. Coils are replaceable and last fairly long. For juice, try VapeWild. Cheap and lots of flavors.

My daughter and I really enjoy our Kanger Evods. Very easy to maintain - most of the time, the only expense is for coils and eliquid. We are both pretty clumsy, but even with using glass tanks, I have only had to replace damaged tanks a couple of times - my daughter dropped an Evod Glass on the concrete driveway, and once did not notice that her Wild Cherry eliquid was a "tank cracker" and loaded it into her plastic Evod tank. Replacement parts are pretty reasonable in price, and you can get batteries that have a longer life between charges than the 650 mah batteries that we currently use. Even the 650 mah batteries last much longer between charges than the Blu setups that we started vaping with.

As far as portability, they are very easily portable. I would, however, make sure that any pockets are secure, so your vape does not fall out or get damaged accidentally. Personally, I would opt for securing my vape in a fanny pack or a backpack with a secure zipper when going to or from work. I would be worried about damaging my equipment while carrying it in a pants pocket. A shirt or jacket pocket would be my preference, especially if I have a way to snap or zip the pocket closed.

The iStick 30 or 40 watt with Nautilus Mini. Compared to the blu it will feel like vape heaven.
