I have been using 80/20 heavy on the PG but have had a lot of muscle aches and pains - research told me it could possibly be an allergic reaction to PG - so I have an order in waiting for some juice from Vapor God - 95% VG hoping to feel better using that. It hasn't gotten here yet so I don't know how thick it is....anyone have any experience with theirs?

Your muscle aches/pains are from one of 2 things or both...lack of water or pg allergies. It sounds like more from lack of water...dehydration. vaping will dehydrate you rather quickly so you need to drink more water than you normally do.

Thanks hairball - I had thought about dehydration but feel like I am drinking an awful lot throughout the day.

I asked my doctor, who also vapes, about the dehydration issue and how a person can tell if you're getting enough water. She told me that you should urinate almost clear...not yellow like most people do (sorry to discuss this here but it's good info). So if your almost urinating clear, you're fully hydrated and the cramps will let up unless it the PG issue. When you get your VG, keep the water intake up, and see if the VG helps any. I used to have a PG allergy but it made me itch really bad. I completely removed it except for flavoring and it went away. I slowly integrated it back into my juices and have been happy ever since without the itchiness that I was having but it was a slow process.

Thank you that is helpful. Despite the fact that I feel like I am drinking a lot I would have to say I am still not drinking enough based on that. I am urinating much more frequently than I used to but my urine is far from clear and I have noticed the smell to be stronger than normal as well as the dark color. I had wondered if the strong smell was connected to the water being used from my body by vaping - I am thinking now that must be the case and I should drink even more than I currently am. Thank you again.

I agree with hairball. I had the itching problem too. Im trying to wiggle my way back toward PG slowly to see if I can toleate it better. As for urine odor, have the doc check to see if your diabetic...but it could be something as simple as your diet.

Thanks Tonybee. I actually don't have a doctor - but am trying to get in to see one - as a new patient I have to wait til the end of the month for an appointment - so doing the "self diagnosis - trying things" in the meantime.

Just remember that part of your "smell" is what you're ingesting plus the water intake is helping to flush your body of all the toxins. It will let up but if it persists, go talk to your doctor. Not all doctors are against vaping so don't be scared or nervous to discuss what you've been doing. Keep the water intake up as high as you can.
