My mom has smoked for 40 years and i have smoked for 20 and we have not smoked in 4 months due to using the Mistic e-cig from Wal-mart but now they tell me it is discontinued. I can't even find the cartridges online 4 sell.

I do not want to go back to smoking but we live in a small town and only have one smoke shop and they only sell one brand and it is the e-cigarette brand but it is not giving us hardly any smoke not like the Mistic did. Can anyone please help!!! THere are so many brands on the internet and it is really overwhelming. I found this site by accident but I am sure glad that I did.

I have read a few posts about people making their own juice, is that what you put in the tip of the e-cigarette brand? And if so, will that make it make more smoke? Is it hard to make?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Get a ce4 ego kit from highdesertvapes.com its 40$ for two cigs the ce4 tanks put out plenty of vapor. If your batteries are 510 connetions you can just order the tanks. I wouldnt suggest mixing your own juice yet you need to do alot of studying first or it could make u really sick or worse. Buy a big bottle of juice 18 or 21 mg nicotine and you will be loving life again :) your friend zombie.

I started using the mystic from Walmart about 9 months ago and still use them once in awhile. It's hard to buy cartridges to fit the mystic battery because they're a weird size. You can buy juice and refill them but you'll only be able to refill them a hand full of times. If your short on cash you can refill them for a while. But you'll eventually have to upgrade. The mystic was a great starter ecig but there are so many better choices out there.

I am ordering now but when I order juice what is the PG/VG ratio, which should I choose?

I see a eGo Mega dual cartomizer for sell at Altsmoke. Is that okay? Thanks for all of your help

The Mistic has two parts the battery and a cartomizer. Since that is what you are familiar with I'll use that as a reference.
A cartomizer is just the thing that holds the liquid and has a little heating element in it. You will also need a power supply, look up "ego twist" It's a battery in a case with a button you push to turn the power on while it's pressed. You will see a lot of numbers like 510 801 etc. These are just the connection size between the battery and the cartomizer. The eGo style battery has a 510 connection so it needs a cartomizer with a 510 connection to fit. Most people also add a "drip tip" that's the little mouth piece that you see in the pics. Drip tips fit into the cartomizer in place of the rubber plug that has a hole in it on the end of the cartomizer. They make it easier to top of the liquid. Drip tips also come in sizes so since I'm using 510 size stuff I'd need a 510 drip tip.

For starting I would get some cartomizers with an Ohm rating of 2-2.5 Ohms. Two ego twists and a charger. Then go to Rawr Vapor: Home page (very good quality liquid) and pick up a sample pack of liquids.

Jody,

Before making a suggestion I'd like to know a little more about what you feel comfortable with.
Do you still want something that is about the size and feel of a cigarette?

If so, I'd suggest the Smokeless Image Volt Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette It's about the best cigarette sized device out there.

If you feel comfortable going larger then those that suggested the eGo's and other devices will serve you well, but realize that they are more like a cigar than a cigarette, and are not automatic (you have to press the button to fire it).

The Twist is also a good battery as you can vary its voltage.

IF it was me I'd go with either a 50/50 mix or a 70/30 VG/PG. Depends on your vaping habits. The VG only is very thick and in a standard tank it does not feed to good. IF you go with a clearomerizer then it will be more forgiving of that. I use clearos and the ViVi nova. They feed all my juice well. For my first no-cig look-a-like I got an ego Twist with the Ego C type b and the clearos. I still use them both. Hope this helps
You will like the really like the fact that you push a button and don't have to pull as hard when you take a drag on them. Much more enjoyment and with a VV battery you can have a lot of control over the vapor.
Hope this helps. Keep doing the vapor. This is just a minor bump in the road.
