Sorry if this question has been beaten to death, but I'm brand new to mods. I've been vaping for quite a few months now, moving from penstyle's to an ego, then the ego twist when it was released, and now my go to is an Innokin Itaste, but I've got the itch to get started on mods. I know that I want a mechanical mod with a 510 connection, but past that I'm pretty lost on all of the options and wanted to get some opinions.

Thanks in advance,
Noah

I guess we need to know what your definition of a mod is? Mine is something that was MODified and is now a personal vaporizer; it is not something that was made as a PV from the get go. I think you may be referring to something else, but I would need more information.

Are you interested in a box mod? Or a tube? If you want mechanical, then VV or VW is out of the question right? Is it a battery holder you are looking for without electronics, or are you wanting to move up to variable voltage (vv)?

Sorry about the confusion, I mean ecigs that you put batteries into like the provari or empire. It could also be a strict "mod" that was modified to be an ecig. I've got two variable voltage devices, so I think I want to stick to straight mechanical. I'm more partial to tube's, but a box mod is not out of the question.

There are a few "mods" out that are reasonably priced and perform very well. Personally, I am very fond of the eGo T Mod which takes a 18650 battery, has a replaceable power switch head (ignore any negative stuff you might see in reviews on YouTube...they are outdated. The control head is completely remodeled and is an excellent device), and the tube itself can be replaced to have different colors if you want. It has two power options...regulated at around 3.4 volt, or unregulated....which will give up to around 4.1 volts to start.

If you want a mechanical mod, you can't go wrong with the Smoktech Telescope. It will take an array of different batteries and is really beautiful to behold.
This one is a new "kit" that Madvapes just came out with

Or you can buy the telescope on it's own if you have everything else needed already

Also here: KGO batteries 1100mAh

If you want something unique that works really well and is perfect for "stealth"...the 3.7 Gripper is great. Takes a 18350 batttery.

There are variable voltage Grippers there too...but they aren't as "stealthy" and I understand they are more "fragile".

Just a few ideas to start with.
