So I made a mistake. I decided I was going to do a 50/50 mix and make several flavors at once. I mixed the PG and VG 50/50 first and thought that I was going to come back and add nic and flavors. I forgot that the E-juice me up calculator added in the nic and flavoring to determine the final ratio.
I have several 50ml of 50/50 premix how do I go about adding flavors at 10, 15 and 20%
Also how would I go about adding nic in 6 and 12mg per ml strengh?

Please help me! :toast:

Okay, I don't know the exact amount needed of nic base and flavorings (depending on the strength and % desired), but, I do believe the only way to preserve that premix of 50/50 is to raise the total amount of finished product. By this I mean, you'll no longer have 50ml bottles, especially with the 20% flavoring bottles. 20% of a 50ml finished product is 10mls of that total 50. And that's not even including the nic.

Well, actually, I guess I didn't think of it (I am tired :D )... but I guess you could take some premixed fluid out of the bottles, and then add in desired ingredients to get the total finished product desired.

For example: Right now you have a 50ml bottle of 50/50, with no flavoring or nicotine, right? Let's say that you want to make that bottle a 12mg, 50/50, with 10% flavoring.

Now, let's say that all of your flavorings were pg based, and you have that 100mg/ml nic base, all pg as well.

Pretend for a moment that we're starting from fresh. You'd need 6mls of that nic base to get 12mg in a 50ml bottle, and 5mls of flavoring for 10%, right? Okay, so that's 11mls (and they're both pg)... so, if I think I am right, you would need to remove 22mls from the premixed 50/50 blend, add the 6mls of nic base, the 5 mls of flavoring, and 11mls of straight VG.

This way, you'll be back 50mls, retained the 50/50 blend, 12mg, 10% flavored of e-liquid.

Phew! That takes a lot when you're tired, lol.

Edit: This will, of course, vary depending on the end nic strength, and flavoring %. Not to mention if the flavoring is based in anything other than pg. But, do you see what I did so that you may do so in the future for any desired end results? I can't tell if I explained it good.

Okay, an easier way to look at it: Pop up the mixing calculator, enter what your desired finished product will be.

Example: This is the recipe for a 6mg, 50/50, 10% flavoring in 50mls. (Link to calculator: E-Juice / E-Liquid Calculator)

So, all you would have to do is add the total amount of nic base with the total amount of flavoring (3+5 = 8mls). Now, we know that both of these (the nic base, and the flavoring) are both PG, so, in order to keep the 50/50 balance, remove 16mls from your pre-mix, and set it aside for future mixes.

Then, add the above 8mls (flavoring and nic base), along with 8mls of straight VG. Voila.

I saw unreg'd there and figured it was a flash-in-the-pan. It's pretty rare for unreg's to come back here with full supplier status.

That, and I really, really hope that it was for personal use. (Maybe hope so hard that it seems impossible to see any other aspect.) A vendor mixing and selling that doesn't understand the math and process is the last thing we need.
