JC, did you hear that Vapor Kings opened their storefront in SS this week? I'm anxious to check it out. It will be nice not having to worry about stockpiling supplies any more. We can just place an order online, then go pick it up the same day. :)

tigerlily, I've been over there twice! It's really cool and I absolutely LOVE Rob and Michelle! Yes, it's super handy. Yesterday I placed my order on line and drove straight there and picked it up. I was asking about how we knew when we could come and he said you can just walk in and get stuff and pay for it (don't necessarily have to order online.) They have it all set up. You just walk in and go up to a little window and they take care of you. It's not a "store" that you grab a basket and go shopping in, but it's a pretty slick setup. Like I said, I've been there twice in two days. Ha.

Hi, Steve. You can fluff the filler up a little with tweezers and (this is what I do) leave it sticking up a tiny bit above the rim of the cart...that way the filler will touch the bridge of the atty before the plastic does, AND, there's a right way and a wrong way to put the cart onto the atty. If you look down into the atty, you'll see that there are little white "wings" that come out on the sides of the bridge. The cart needs to line up with those so that the cart actually makes a "T" with the bridge. The long sides of the cart go the same direction as the wings. Not sure I explained that correctly, but once you look down in there, I think you'll see what I mean. That will keep the melting to a minumum. Also, the melted carts are okay to use again...they won't continue to melt (in my experience.) You can also take something sharp and trim them a tiny bit, but you will really have to make sure your filler is touching the bridge, so pull it up a tiny bit above the rim.

I use the blue foam exclusively these days, and when I fill a cart, I remove the foam "plug" and fill the cart about 90% full...then I put the plug in with tweezers, and I "dunk" it then pull it back up. When I pull it back up, I make sure it's sticking up a tiny bit above the rim of the cart. None of this is an exact science...but this is what I've found works.

Hi, Steve. Got it....made me smile. Sent you one. Actually had typed out a long drawn out PM then LOST it! So shortened it a lot and sent it along. Glad to hear you're enjoying everything. Isn't vaping fun? And trying new juice is fun.....but finding that one or two you just love is even better. Good luck. Go order yourself another charger. (Bossy, huh? Sorry.) Did you try the Johnson Creeks? I don't like any of that AT ALL. I'm curious because I have another friend who calls that his "gourmet vape." LOL

Is this your 2-week anniversary (vaping)? You hanging in there? Amazing, isn't it?! How's the search for that "all-day-vape" going? I'm still totally enjoying these 2.0 OHM cartos. Can't believe I hadn't discovered them before now. I've just gotten complacent thinking I had my system down pat. Just shows you can't rest on your laurels...gotta keep on looking for more and more new stuff to spend money on! Don't know what I was thinking...... LOL

Week two no smoking. I bought my first e-cig while Christmas shopping, So I've been vaping a little longer. I stopped smoking when I got my Riva (thanks to you and a few other members)... And YES it's amazing as hell.

Well I gave my buddy some Johnson Creek so lets see what happens. hahaha.

Ok, question. Where do I find the 2.0 OHM cartos? I gotta try them.

The 2.0 OHM cartos: I got mine at Joye eGo | Joye 510 | Electronic Cigarette supplies | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! I also saw them at Welcome to MadVapes LLC last night when I was shopping around. I think they're about the same price. Both are fast shipping. I really, really like them. Wish we were neighbors....I bring you one to try and swap you for one of your CE2s. Are you liking the ones you got from Liberty-Flights? I've avoided them because I thought you could only fill them with a syringe. Since the condom method works, I might just check those out.

i like my cartos but wish they held more liquid. The 2.0 carts are sold out on Liberty Flights.
My buddy just got some kind of 510 but with a skinny batter and the tip lights up. Oh and no I have not even touched my old e-cigs....LOL.
That would be sweet if we were neighbors. It would be easier to pay you back. hahahahaaaaaa

I'll take a Porterhouse........but it'd probably piss you off when I ordered it well-done. LOL. Big red meat lovers always argue with me when I order a good steak well-done.

I know Vapor Kings has the 2.0s in stock...or at least they did two days ago. And I was looking at Mad Vapes last night and saw some there so I ordered a box. I don't rave about everything I have or have tried in the past, but these really are hitting the spot with me. I've used cartos a lot, and have not really been that impressed overall, but these are really awesome. They won't hold any more than the ones you have probably, but they vape very very well. They hold around 35 drops for me.

The little 510 with the skinny battery your buddy has is what I had as my second e-cig. Went from the TRIO to that. Then within a week or so, I went to the eGo/Riva. All of your attys and stuff will work on his battery and vice versa. Might be handy if either of you ever get in a fix and need to borrow something until the mailman comes. These 2.0 cartos snap, crackle, and pop when I draw on them. That sound is music....it means they're working right. True low resistance cartos and attys are hard on the Riva, or so they say. But these are about halfway between a true LR (about 1.5-1.7 ohm) and a regular resistance which is usually 2.8-3.0 ohm. I had avoided LR cartos because I didn't want to lose battery life, but decided to try these after reading some reviews, and they're really nice. I'm going to be using them for awhile I can tell. :)

Oh, you had asked what the difference is between the Riva and the eGo. Not much -- they do look very much alike. The buttons are different, and (mainly) they're different manufacturers. Also, the Riva battery is rated 750mAh (milliAmp hours) and the eGo short battery is rated 650mAh. I have never noticed any difference in performance or battery life. I like, and recommend the Riva simply because to me they're the same thing, and the Riva is a little ($10) cheaper. The eGo is made by Joyetech which is a very well respected manufacturer. The Riva is made by EM (Eastmall) and is considered a "clone." But it has really earned it's own reputation for being a good product, so there really isn't much difference. Oh...the finish is a little different....
