Hi,
New here but not new to vaping. In fact, I have been vaping since 2012 when I bought my first kit off of Vapor4Life. I only bought from Vapor4Life until the unfortunate shipping bans. I used the Wow Peppermint with the Vapor Zeus and the smileomizers. Now I cannot find anything that I even remotely like since they are officially gone:(
I have tried the Ooze batteries with the mint Twist juice and the atomizer always tastes burnt even though I let it sit for 20 minutes or more before using it. I like the Air Bar lux disposables but I can’t see that being very cost effective.

I feel like the equipment changed so much since I started, and I didn’t keep up and now I don’t know what to buy or where to start. The guy at the Vape shop said it was time to upgrade to the new technology, but I don’t even know what that is. I literally used the same type of battery for nearly 10 years.
Please help. I am so frustrated, and I don’t know what to buy.

That passive method of "priming" a coil isn't very effective, yet has been widely pushed for years. The real way to prime a coil is to take primer puffs (suck air through the tip without hitting the fire button, and if you are using a device that is draw activated then you have to take the atomizer off the device in order to take a primer puff). Primer puffs draw liquid into the coil chamber/wick to help get the juice flowing and the wick saturated. Too much or too hard will flood the chamber, but that's better than burning the wick because at least you can clear a flood. A burnt wick isn't fixable. What is "too much and too hard" depends on the atomizer.

As I said to another new member who was an 808 kit user, I think your best bet today is to just go to a local vape shop and buy a smaller popular pod system (maybe a Uwell Caliburn G or Caliburn A2). The reason is because this vapemail ban has made it too hard to get stuff reliably in a reasonable amount of time through the mail, and (the most important part) at least you will be buying something that you know is available locally. No use in buying a pod system online when the pods/coils for that system aren't readily available locally. You need to be able to buy coils/pods as easily as you can buy cigarettes, same with juice.
